This is music to my ears. If they pass on Teddy to take Manziel, it can't bode well for the future of the Texans.

Kyjaggy is right. This is going to be a long 5 months.
Or he can prove doubters wrong and be really, really good. Just sayin.
One media source says Houston is trading the pick and this one says Manziel is the top pick.....its going to be a long ride

Or you could win the lottery tomorrow.
This guy also said Geno won't get past the top 5.

Taking either one wouldn't guarantee they bode well, but personally I'd take Manziel before Teddy.

Last time they took a QB first overall, it was a mistake.

Last time they took a rare DE first overall, the player was the right choice.

So, I'm sure they won't be forgetting about that.

Fine with me, I'm not sold on him as a first round QB.

He doesn't really give any sort of reason other than that he likes him.

Um....ok

There is a very small chance they might pass up on Teddy, but no way whatsoever would any GM consider taking a 5'10 190-ish lb QB with the first overall pick. Manziel right now is not even a guarantee top 15 pick. I wish people stop all these Manziel thread.

And you probably agreed with him then....
Yahoo sports just put up a mock with Bortles going to #1 overall to the Texans. No one has any idea what's going to happen at this point, I don't even think the Texans know who they're going to take at this point.

I'm not saying he will. I'm saying it COULD happen.

You mean Brotles:

1. Houston Texans - Blake Brotles QB, UCF

Why they would do it: There is some buzz about the possibility of UCF quarterback Blake Brotles being ranked as the No. 1 quarterback on some teams boards. If there is any team more likely to lean towards a Bill O'Brien coached team, I would be shocked. Brotles beat Penn State 34-31 in their matchup, and B.O.B has seen Brotles at his best. If he believes Brotles can run that offense, then he may lean in that direction in May.

Lol, the best part is that it wasn't a typo. He repeatedly calls him Brotles.

Manziel is all over the place. Some say top 10, others say second round. For all we know he may be a Jaguar.
I would be perfectly okay with the Texans (assuming they don't trade out) taking Manziel. I seriously doubt he translates to the NFL... Could also let Bridgewater fall to us. Would love that.
