Size doesn't matter if you have the luxury of Extenzing the play.

See: Russell Wilson's mobility.
Would I worry about my weight? Well, no, I mean I've gained a couple of pounds over the Holidays but still think I look pretty good.

Quote:Do you think size has any correlation to how often people in front of him suck? If a quarterback is bigger, those in front of him might feel obligated to put more effort into suck level. No one wants to block for a small quarterback that doesn't take advantage of the situation he is in.

If you got a bunch of guys in front of you sucking, that opens the door for the dl to get penetration into your backfield.

I am sure a better one will come up later, but for now, enjoy this one.
So your that kinda girl?
Quote:It would be interesting to bring in a big quarterback and a small quarterback who have the same playing style and see which one plays better.

This isn't anything new. Any college girl could tell you this.
I have a feeling that JaguarsWoman has been trolling us all alone.  What a creative way to start a new thread.

See: Russell Wilson's mobility.

So a mobile quarterback can be smaller than a pocket passer? If that is true, people need to stop complaining about how Johnny Manziel plays.
Just because he's short like Wilson doesn't mean he'll have Wilson's success. Go watch any of Russell Wilson's interview and pay attention to his demeanor. Wilson is smart, humble, and mature beyond his year. What he does in the off season to better himself as a qb and a teammate is just the opposite of what a typical Manziel's off season.
Watch Manziel's post LSU interview.
Manziel will NOT be drafted in the top 5, maybe not even top 10. Gosh, I wish everyone would stop with the Russell wilson comparison.

Yep. There's no way.

Do you think Manziel needs Extenze to succeed, though?

Three women in here and we still can't get an answer.

This is a crock.

Maybe not, but he might need some Enzyte to get up for the games at this level. Do we want an up and comer like Johnny or do we want some one bigger like Teddy who will really pound it in there and take the money shot when the whole shoot is on the line?

Am I the only one who thinks that this question is one that the OP will never need to concern herself over ever?

Heck yeah, jw is a COC magnet.
...that Carly chic... Not so such. Smile

bahahaha
Quote:If GMs are really worried about small hands, why don't any draft analysts ever talk about that? We never read anybody's hand measurement.

Players with small hands are not the only guys who fumble, you know.
Pretty sure Mayock has discussed hand size in the past. The more detailed publications certainly talk about hand size for QBs and WRs, at least.

I'd put money down on Manziel measuring in at 5'11", maybe even 5'10", at the combine. Mobility helps, but at some point, your QB has to be able to see over the center.

If you can't see over the center, then you can't be forewarned about the incoming penetration.
