Uh. Yeah.

Maybe in the 7th round or as an UDFA.

He's said that if he goes undrafted he will probably join the Military. I think he is worth at least a 5th.

I wouldn't take him over guys like Murray or Mett.

Would be a wasted pick

He sucks.

Quote:He sucks.based on what? He is the only QB in the nation to throw more then 20 TDs and only 1 int, and can run, yea thats a guy that sucks
Just because a guy isnt a first round pick doesnt mean they suck

I like him, but I a quick little tid bit. Everyone says Manzeil won't be able to take the hits in the NFL. Shaw was more injury prone thanManzeil ever was in the SEC.

<span style="color:rgb(34,34,34);">I like Shaw, he is a gammer but I just dont think he has the arm strength. Manziel in the 1st and then maybe Shaw in the 6th doesn’t sound bad but someone will take a shot on him earlier.

Really underrated QB.
01-02-2014, 05:36 PM
Is he better than Matt Scott?

Connor Shaw is the most underrated QB in the draft. Undefeated record at home. 1 interception this year and it was on a jump ball that the defender made a great play on. I don't know how many times Shaw bailed out SC, but it was a lot. What a gamer and a winner!
Go check out the Missouri game this season. Shaw had a sprained knee and was sick. He missed walkthroughs and everything... He didn't start the game but came in the 4th quarter down 17-0 and lead the comeback to beat Mizzou in double OT while throwing for 200 yards and 3 TDs. Shaw had 3 passing touchdowns, 1 rushing and 1 receiving in the bowl game. Best QB in South Carolina history and someone is going to get a steal!

I actually think he is underrated too. Definitely carries a draftable grade now after being way off that standard to start the year. I'd be fine with him if Dave wants to use a later pick on a 2nd QB.

I'm not a spurrier fan, but I respect him.
He said Shaw was one of the best he's ever seen.
I'd just like to have a qB from down south where football rules.
McCarron, Mettenberger, Shaw, Bortles....heck even Murray.
In no particular order but I sure like what I saw in Bortles and Shaw in the bowls.
Johnny Football worries me with his party time...but what ever Gus and Dave go with is good with me.

Yes I would 100% use a 5th rounder on Shaw. I believe he could be one of those guys you can ease into the job like the seahawks did with Wilson. Shaw would be a lot more fun to watch than Henne/gabbert
