Pretty much all of this. Hate the guy as much as you want to, there's no way he'd be worse than 90 other players on this roster. The Jags have nothing to lose by keeping him around and shopping him, or even keeping him around to see if he shows enough development to be worth hanging on to as the backup. I think the only realistic scenario for keeping him on the team next season is if the team drafts a rookie QB, Henne leaves in free agency and a different veteran QB is not signed, but it never hurts to sit on the guy and see if some coach out there wants to part with a late-round pick to see if he can "fix" Gabbert.
