Quote:What do you consider an intermediate throw?

So we blame the quarterback? Fisch makes the quarterback. Fisch was expected to continue to develop Blaine Gabbert as the franchise quarterback the franchise drafted just a couple years ago with a high first round pick. He knew this when he took the offensive coordinator's job.

Fisch is just throwing Gabbert down the stairs to save his own skin. He knows nothing about developing a quarterback, right? He failed in his primary mission this season, which was to further develop Blaine Gabbert.

So we already know what kind of irresponsible idiot Fisch is. Why give him another shot at developing a franchise quarterback when he blew his first shot?

Dumbest post of the week. Congrats
Quote:I won't deny that I have been conditioned to have a negative outlook regarding this franchise. 14 years of mostly bad decisions and bad football will do that to a person.

His persona, what he preaches to the team and the kind of players coach he is. I think relationships are important to him, and committment is important to him. While these are all noble traits, they can be a curse if you hired some of the wrong assistants to begin with because he'll be sticking with people that aren't good enough.

See Jeremy Mincey.

Any other brilliant observations from your intense ties to the Bradley regime?
Quote:Those assuming that Bradley will not fire Fisch or any other coaches out of "loyalty" are doing so blindly, IMO. I see no reason to believe Bradley/Caldwell wouldn't shake up the staff a bit if they perceive a weakness.

I doubt Fisch gets the axe - but it wouldn't surprise me if he did. You have a staff put together by a couple of first timers and they may not hit home runs on every hire. I think they are both wise enough to correct a mistake when and if they've made one.

There is nothing in what Dave or Gus has done so far that leads me to believe they will not hold everyone accountable, including themselves.

Of course, we are not mind readers.
Quote:Yes, this reads like someone that did a real good job in the college ranks.... Laughing

You have to be trolling at this point. I find it hard to believe you're really that dumb.

At this point? It's been like 10 years, right?
We could Welcome Back Koetter, since he's been so lights out in ATL... LOL

are you really citing Jeremy Mincey as evidence to the contrary??? Laughing

He wasn't even brought in by the Bradley regime, and was a fringe player as well.

LOL, Koetter has done well in Atlanta. And did well in Jacksonville. Koetter was a legit quality OC.
Fire yourself. The play calling was fine and I had no problem with it.

Once again evidence that Jags fans are okay with mediocrity. Actually the Jags offense (and defense for that matter) were much worse than plain mediocre. 240 points total and a -200 point differential is disgraceful. Yes, even with the personnel we had.

Once again evidence that someone willing to trade a 2nd or 3rd round pick for a game-manger-at-best QB will continue to scorn others for being content with mediocrity.

95% of this forum thinks one of us needs to seek help, and it isn't me.

But that is just "group think", right?

atburg agrees with me about your QB obsession of recent. If more people paid attention to it, I am sure they'd follow with us. Seek help, man.
Guys, let me get this straight....

TMD has trashed Ace Sanders and Cecil Shorts (our starting WRs), he has trashed Marcedes Lewis (our starting TE), he has trashed Henne (our starting QB) along with various other offensive players and yet trashed the OC for not producing?

Does anybody but him follow that logic?

Most of my trashing of Cecil was before last seasons breakthrough season. He's a capable receiver. MoJo is old, but still a worthwhile RB. I actually like Todman. I like Mike Brown. Marcedes is average. Blackmon, when on the field is a stud WR. I've spoke about Ace being small but haven't criticized much of his actual play at WR -- If you can find some evidence proving the contrary, I challenge you to do so.

Yes, the offense should have scored more than 240 something points this season. Fisch presided over a horribad offense, No reason they shouldn't have topped 300 points with a decent OC. That would have been a respectable number given the personnel.

lets see how he flip flops out of this one hahaha what an embarrassment
It's hard to score points when you don't have a legit go-to guy or a homerun threat both in the passing and running game.

Yesterday our longest run was 6 freakin yards.

We need O-Line help, a stud receiver, and a big-play RB.
