Quote:For sure. Plus bad luck and baffling officiating.
BTW, that fumble at the goal line is very debatable!
It should have been a TD, we all agree. It still doesn't change the fact that it was a killer.
And yes, the officiating bias against this team has been down right criminal.

LOL Anyone who watched the Packers game can agree on the latter statement.
Only the referee made that "fumble" a killer. Chris Ivory did nothing wrong on the play.

You mean besides holding onto the football? Because that's pretty important..

He did hold onto the football. Anyone who watched replays could clearly see it was over the line, at which point the play is over.

Except for that part where the ball was bouncing around on the ground in the end zone.

Jags sign Romo for 2-3 years at 20 mil a year.
Romo injured after 3 games and gets put on IR with another back injury.
Forum blows up and rips the GM for going after Romo and paying him all that money.
You forgot to put the line in where the Jags have to go back to Bortles after Romo gets injured.

Bortles will be starting week 1 next year, so it really doesn't matter lol.

Then how do explain how the replay officials who watched the replay from several different angles couldn't clearly see it was over the line and ruled it a fumble?
Quote:So why are there reports he expressed interest in playing for Denver?
Those are reports by people not named tony romo. Tony Romo hasnt said anything about playing for any particular team in the future.

Read the thread about the play. It explains everything.
Quote:I agree.
Our oline is fine.
Wow. Watch just about any other team's line. Pay close attention to just the technique of the center, the guards, and the tackles. Our protective 5 is pretty terrible - probably worst in the NFL run blocking and bottom 5 in pass protecting.

You don't determine when a play is over.
Quote:I know the rules.
And the rules said it was a fumble.. so you clearly don't know anything.

The rules say it is a TD. You know once the ball crosses the goal line the play is over.
If you don't know this stuff you don't watch any football games.

Yet they didn't over turn the call after wasting 15 minutes watching replays...

Why do you keep arguing about this when YOU KNOW THE CALL WAS WRONG? This is the kind of repeated posting that makes me think all people want to do is argue with me.
If you really don't know what the rule is and that it was obviously a bad call, READ THE THREAD ABOUT THAT PLAY.

Wrong. The play was ruled a fumble and there was not enough evidence to overturn.
Had it been ruled a TD, it would have remained a TD.
Again, because the view was blocked. There was no evidence to overturn the call on the field, regardless of which way it was called.
