Former NFL scout John Middlekauff cites sources saying Louisville junior QB Teddy Bridgewater has contemplated returning to school in 2014.
Middlekauff adds no decision has been made at this point. Everyone has expected Bridgewater to declare for May's draft for quite some time. In fact, it was covered as a forgone conclusion. We still believe he ends up declaring, but from previous reports it seems as though Bridgewater's mother is heavily involved in the process
If he does there will be a lot of tears on this MB
Well Bridgewater's mother said he was going to finish this year and then prepare for the draft. I'd be shocked if he stays.
that's what I was thinking before... what if we tank and then golden boy doesn't declare? then what?
people have been counting on him declaring since last year based on no factual information.
I would be surprised. He graduates this month. Unless maybe he always dreamed of playing in the ACC..lol.

he should transfer to Alabama

That would be sort of amazing

Not really. He wont fall to our pick anyways.

I think Vangrant bolted when our tanking stopped

What counts as factual information? He took out a $10 million insurance policy. That says everything. He's also graduating this year.

Here is factual information: Christian Ponder graduated
two years before entering the NFL draft. How does graduating say everything when that happens? Many players stay in school after graduating FYI.
He's guaranteed top 5 pick. No reason to stay.

That may be a reason why he's at least contemplating the decision to stay in school. He may want to see how that top 5 shakes out before declaring.

Signed Andrew luck?

Not true. Andrew Luck was guaranteed to be the #1 pick and decided to stay in school. Although he citied a desire to get his marketing degree, I suspect the real reason was to not be a Panther since his dad suggested he might refuse to play for the team that picks him. The Panthers had already said something that means, "If he chooses to come out early, he is our quarterback."

Not really, we aren't getting him, and if he stays the tinhorns won't either... Win win.
I don't think he would if we were the #1 pick. I actually think he wanted to come here. IIRC, his GF said something like he'd look good in a Jags uni, he followed Brunell and Cyp on twitter and he chose a small school over big name colleges. Maybe he'd rather play for the Jags over a team like the Tinhorns.
I'd be surprised if he stays, considering he's graduating.
But honestly, it doesn't bother me as much anymore since we can't get him without trading up anyway. And trading up has proven to rarely if ever work out, when you have to give up a kings ransom to do so.

we have no shot at getting him atm so i doubt people would care. Its actually better if he went back so the texans dont get him, and then next year winston and teddy would be available.

Winston is a redshirt freshman. That means this is his first year at FSU and he will not be eligible until 2016.
The Jaguars will be better next season and win more games. Luke Joeckel will be back. Other rookies will have a year of experience behind them. The West divisions are not on next year's schedule. Expect a better record next season.
