Caldwell and Shad for keeping Bradley around.  Bradley for his continued bad decisions for coordinators/coaching staff.  Fowler for his stupid penalties.

 

There are so many issues but the main ones start up top.

Real fans are the ones that show true interest in the team, whether at home or at the stadium. Being a real fan doesn't mean you have to show satisfaction with everything the team is doing.

I never used the word satisfied. Ever. Supporting a team is watching games in whatever way you can (or, if you can't, checking score updates on a tablet) and cheering very loud if you are at the stadium. If you have Jaguars attire you wear it. You don't call anybody on the team a derogatory term You can criticize people. You can be unsatisfied with something and get frustrated. But you can't act like we never do anything right and nothing good ever happens because they're what you wanted.

A crowd booing is not singling out any individual player and calling him a derogatory name. It is the only way the customers (fans) can offer feedback about the service (the football product) they are being given. 

A real fan only roots for one team. All others are bandwagon.

There is one way single out an individual player and I have heard it several times: Chant the name of his backup to get the starter benched. That was exactly how Tony Romo got the promotion.

 

I don't know if this would be a good idea at EverBank Field, but it is better to try that than call specific players idiots or whiners

Take all of your  opinions about "real fans" and leave......you're arguing for the sake of post building because....

You have no right or business deciding who is and who isn't a fan.

He has no reason to question the fans.  Especially when the team just had played two away games where fans booed their home team as well and those are actually pretty good teams.  NFL fans boo, they all do.  Go play in some market where the fans are *really* hard on the players when the team sucks.

 

By and large, Jags fans are very supportive but 3 winning seasons in 16 years leads to some dissatisfaction with the way things are going.

They haven't won a home game in ages.   They haven't contended for anything in years.   It's amazing anyone still shows up.   I went to see the Jags play the Saints in the Superdome a long time ago, when the Saints were perennially bad, and the place was practically empty.   I remember seeing a Detroit game a few years ago when the Lions were perennially bad, and it seemed like there were no fans in the stand at all.   Fans won't pay good money when they don't ever get any reward.  They walk out of the stadium game after game and say to themselves, I spent $100 and what I got in return was anger, pain, and depression.

What? We have not had a winning season or halfway decent since 2008.  And have a qb rating of 38 and yet mad cause stadium is not packed?  Really?

Remember that fans are the only ones that pay any money.  Coaches, players, management all profit off of the dumpster fire known as the Jaguars.  I don't fault any Jaguars fans who are apathetic at this point.  It's like being a fan of a restaurant and going there every week.  They used to be good but now they serve burnt steak and flavorless potatoes.  Also, there's much better restaurants that are right next door.  Remember, you must be loyal to the crappy restaurant and go there every week in the hopes of them getting better.

 

Anyone on this board truly cares about the Jaguars and wants them to be good.  Unfortunately, can you remember the last winning season we had?  When we've spent the last 5 years winning a combined 16 games, fans have a right to be upset, and yes, they have a right to not show up to the garbage heap known as the Jaguars.

yes 2007 we lost to the pats by 11 Northcutt who was mr. reliable up to that point heard foot steps.

Well to be honest if you took Dave and inserted in JDR.  We would have been a whole lot better.  JDR had hardly anything to work with his entire time here.  Felt bad for the man.
