He is clearly a franchise QB and should go #1 overall.

How awesome would that be if everyone thought the Tinhorns were deciding between Clowney/Teddy than Goodell reads off Garoppolo.

Hope the Jaguars draft this guy as their only quarterback.  He's got a Dan Marino quick release and Aaron Rodgers in him.

As said before, to me "Jimmy Garropolo" sounds like a guy that should be anchoring the 6 o' clock news team, not QB my pro football team.

Via a report from Rotoworld......Jimmy Garoppolo is the sixth and final QB picked for the Senior Bowl. He joins Derek Carr and David Fales on the South roster. The 3 QBs for the North are Stephen Morris, Tajh Boyd and Logan Thomas.

JImmy G is going to surprise people and start and become a pro bowl caliber qb

If he does well against the higher competition of the Senior Bowl, watch for his stock to rise. One of his major knocks has been the weaker competition he has faced all year. He has nothing to lose and everything to gain. McCaron could have really helped his stock by playing in this Bowl.

I love the opportunity that our coaching staff will get a close look at Jimmy G., Fales and Carr. I have a feeling that they fall in love with one of these and draft him in the 2nd (Carr) or 3rd (Jimmy G. or Fales). How about a draft like this:

 

Round 1: Mack or Barr

            2  Dee Ford

            3  Jimmy G

            4  Best running back available

            5-7  BAP at guard/center, WR and defensive tackle

Glad he's on the south roster.

So does this mean Garoppolo isn't playing today for the East-West game?? Wasn't he supposed to?

He's playing in the Shrine game and Senior Bowl. It's not too uncommon for guys to play in both.

Cool. I was worried that once he was added to the Senior Bowl, he might have been scratched from the game today.

And by Aaron Rodgers in him you mean he kinda looks like Aaron. 

Garoppolo is interesting, but where he plays really bothers me..  If we take a guy in the 1st, Take Jimmy late 4th/5th round for insurance?

If he keeps lighting up the Shrine and has a good showing at the senior bowl and combine he might not make it to the fourth.

I do like his play style.. it's just the fact that we're talking about a REALLY small school with terrible competition. Worries me a bit.
