The show has been off the air for over 5 years now, but man it's still one of my favorites. Love catching re-runs of this.

Was a good show, the shows even funny when you've seen the episode before.

My Family and I used to watch it all the time. Good times.

I have a crush on Carrie.

early show Carrie, towards the end not so much ( I know she was pregnant she just didn't age well)

True.
I hate this kind of show! The ones where they make the husband a selfishly inept moron, and the wife a total shrew of a woman. HATE THEM! I find no comic relief in them what so ever. Everyone love Raymond was one of the worst!

Maybe I put too much thought into it...but I always wonder how in the hell two people like that would ever get married much less stay married!

You have a point but all sitcoms follow the same model. Dad is dumb and always in trouble, Mom is always angry and in charge. King of Queens just did it the best to where it was funnier then others.

Probably why I haven't watch sitcoms for years! Obvious humor just doesn't cut it for me, I guess. Sad

Jerry Stiller was a great character too.

My wife gets mad cause I find so many things funny so easily I wouldn't have it any other way. Maybe it's a gender thing? I know for sure my wife is a lot harder to make laugh then me.

My hubby also finds those shows funny...so you might be on to something here!

That's why King of the Hill is probably the best and still most unconventional sitcom. It doesn't follow any of that formula nor are the characters predictable. I'll Take Hank over Kevin any day.

huh? The dad is a ragging drunk and total idiot, the mom is always angry in that show? Am I getting wooshed?

You are easy!! Lol
My wife is the same way as Bch, and what Eric describes when it comes to things like this.

I started watching "Porter Ridge" this week. Caught an episode and it was freaking hilarious! It's about 10 episodes in, so I am way behind, but man is it funny.

I told her to watch this one part in the show. She humored me and sat and watched it. She didn't find it funny. I was flabbergasted!

Happens all the time, I run to grab my wife and say watch this! Then I'm crushed to see she doesn't even crack a smile! How can you live like that?!?!

My husband does the same thing! I will hear him and my son watching something and laughing it up and join them watching whatever...and I just won't get it. Kinda like The Three Stooges.... Most woman don't find them funny at all.

In King of the Hill?!?! Not from what I see when I watch it. Then again, I may be skewed.
