I sold my tickets for above face value. After watching what I have so far this year I don't feel bad one bit. I've paid for a below average product for far too long. I love going to watch NFL games, but at some point you want your team to win and win on a consistent basis.
The Raiders were at the same spot, if not worse, than what we were not long ago and look where they are. They managed it well and are 10-2....we're the exact opposite at 2-10 using our old coach.

NFL Ticket Exchange. Broncos fans are used to paying top $ and probably wanted to secure their seats in advance of getting to the stadium. A lot of fans love the NFL Ticket Exchange because it's 100% guaranteed. Ticketmaster cancels out my bar code and reissues the ticket so the the buyer carries no risk.
As much as I don't like sell to opposing fans, this did offset the $300 loss that I incurred on 6 tix vs the Bengals in preseason.

^^^ so true. I remember having topics about who people would select as their QB of the future if they were just starting a franchise today. Most (if not all) of us preferred Bortles over Carr.
Hope the fans in J-ville don't mess around and lose the team.
Idk how the economy is in JAX, but i'm sure this team helps at least in that regard. If the Jags leave, what would the city have?

The same thing we had before 1996. Beautiful weather, nice golf courses, a beach, an above average zoo, and low tourism.

This is not a large market like LA that has the mindset "we have other things to do". That is not going to fly.
Ideally, we would support the team like Green Bay does (I know they have a winning culture).
How do we as fans help turn this thing around?

Kind of the boat I am in to be honest. As I have gotten older, priorities have kind of changed, and with the current state and greed of the NFL and ref bias against smaller market teams just kind of adds fuel to the "I don't care" fire.
The odds are so stacked against teams like us having success, it is kind of a lost cause.

LA area yes.
Too many friends are OAK fans. Lots of family are Ram fans.
Grew up without a team and chose JAX (liked the color scheme, players, and style of play).
Never been a fan who jumps squads. Those who do that are weak.
It's really simple. Money, wins, losses, who is/is not the coach,QB, or anyone else cannot play any factor in the decision to purchase or not purchase season tickets. If not enough folks purchase ticks on a season basis the team WILL eventually relocate. That is not even debatable.
You have to pay to watch the play no matter what or risk losing your team. Many posting here do not live here so they really have no dog in the race but those who do and can better purchase tickets if you value the team in this city and if you own property or business here you can bet it is in your interest to do so.

There's nothing appalling or disheartening about it. The Jags haven't won in Jacksonville in a year. Franky. the support the team gets right now is simply amazing, given their lack of production.
I wonder...if the Broncos had ten years of losing seasons, playoff elimination by September every year...would the seats at Mile High be filled with orange and blue? I doubt it.
The fans have shown up and done their job. The team has not supported the fans
Winning and losing ultimately what brings fans to the stadium. The big boards, pools, cabanas, those are all perks. And the Jags have done a good job of providing entertainment at the stadium...except for the one that Jaguars fans came there for. The stadium was like this in 2002/03 before TC was fired. As someone who has followed the Jags since 96 and part of the supposed "Generation Jaguar", there is A LOT of apathy towards the team right now even from its most die hard fans.
Firing the coach/gm/qb whoever will hit a restart, much like how the fanbase got a small boost when JDR was hired. But significant changes need to be made, starting with success on the field, is needed for the fans to come back.
