- "6th Seed - Jacksonville
Wins tie break over NY Jets, Pittsburgh and San Diego based on best win percentage in conference games. Division tie break was initially used to eliminate Miami (NY Jets wins tie break over Miami based on best win percentage in division games). Division tie break was initially used to eliminate Baltimore (Pittsburgh wins tie break over Baltimore based on best win percentage in common games). Division tie break was initially used to eliminate Tennessee (Jacksonville wins tie break over Tennessee based on head-to-head win percentage)."

If it took that fool off my TV forever it's totally worth losing a top 5 pick.

Quote:I just picked games that make every team finish with the same record. I don't believe it's mathematically possible for the Jaguars to win out and not finish with the best divisional record among the potential 6th seed wildcard teams.
EDIT: Note that if any of the teams finish with 8 wins, we're out. But they must get 8 wins if the Jags win out, or else the Jaguars are in. With the Titans, Texans, Bills, and Colts left to play, it's unlikely, but it's not outside of the realm of possibility.

"Jacksonville...Do YOU Believe in Miracles?"
How fitting would it be for the new era of Jaguars football to have the same sort of miracle start as the last great era of Jags ball

Quote:I'd be pretty happy with 7-9 and AJ McCarron in the 1st and Aaron Murray with a day 3 pick.
OMG twice this week TMD and I agreed on something!

Now with knee injury and mettenberger torn acl, been watching McCarron lately.....he's definitely a team leader and seems more a good sane safe pick.
No less than archie manning (Mccarron's been in his qb program a while) said he was probably the best in the draft.
Then over in the 7-9 thread.
PLus tMD's left the "Tank Corps" I need a drink.
Winning does work.

If we go 7-9, can I bump the preseason prediction threads and say I knew it all along? :teehee:

That would make a great sports movie. Start out 0-8, go on to win the next 7/8. Sneak onto the playoff, win muiltple upsets, get to the Superbowl and upset Bradley former team the seahawks to capture the championship. Seems logical
