I agree, he should've just tackled him. But is Gordon that fast or is our secondary really slow? Even Deion Sanders was asking that while watching the play.

Not sure if this has been said or not but according to Pro Football Focus, Gratz, Ball, and Cyprien all graded out positively.

I think our secondary will be elite in the next few years just like Seattles. I trust Caldwell and Bradley to make that happen.

ERRMAHGERRRD!!!!  It's a MURACLE!!

I'm rewatching the game right now.   A couple of notes on the secondary in the first half.  

 

-  Mike Harris had two nice plays in nickel coverage.

 

  -  Gratz made a nice break-up on third down knocking the ball out of Gordon's hands.  (he didn't lose all of his Gordon match-ups)

Gordon=Stupid fast. 4.3 forty. Add in his size and it's no surprise he is puttint up his numbers

Why isn't Blackmon playing? I've been of the opinion that he was our best secondary player when he was starting. Though I will admit, Ball seems to have stepped up and has been making some nice plays lately.

Shoulder injury.  (AC joint)   They eased him in on a handful of snaps yesterday.  He'll probably split more reps with Harris at nickel when he's healthy.

He only played one snap. If I recall correctly, he's been hardly playing for the past few games. Hopefully he can get healthy.

I stand corrected.  Gus didn't mention him in the injury report portion of his presser today - so maybe we'll see him a little more vs. the tinhorns.  

The guy that said Gordon wasn't a great receiver was right...he's elite. That particular comment should get a post of the year nomination...good times!

I didn't like the Gratz pick all too much...but to be honest, he has played fairly well.
