Really...I hate to start threads like this but with games against the Texans, Browns, and Titans coming up to end the season, I feel like this team is on its way to lose out on TMD and Vagrantwade's dream QB, Bridgewater.

There's a legitimate chance that Boyd could be this team's next QB, either in the second or late first via trade up (or down).

This game against SC will be very important. If he plays well, he could be our late first round pick. So, let's have a Boyd watch.
I forgot about Boyd when I made the thread how McCarron will probably our pick if we go defense with out 1st pick. Boyd is probably more likely knowing Bradley wants a mobile QB.

I hope he doesn't play like he did against Fsu. It will definitely drop his stock significantly
Yeah I'm gonna watch this game and then post a breakdown later... But he's not worth our first first.

If we can't get Teddy, I think we need to grab Barr. He's pretty much the definition of a Leo - 6'4, 248, with a 4.47 40. His closing burst is insane, if you haven't watched this guy play please do yourself a favor and look up some clips. He's phenomenal, better than Clowney in my opinion. And he's just scratching his potential.

Then grab Boyd or McCarron or whomever in the second.

Boyd is the 2nd best QB in the draft.

That I can agree with
Whoever we grab at QB this year, I can seriously consider Gurley with our first pick next year. The guy really reminds me of AP with his combo of speed and power.

As good as he might be I would rather not spend a pick in the top half of the first for a RB. Those days are gone.

You're right, it is risky, but having a (FranchiseQB)/Gurley/Blackmon triple could be devastating.

For comparison, Dallas took Aikman, Smith, and Irvin with first round picks. Turned out pretty well.
Go Gamecocks!
If Boyd finished the season strong, I don't see how he can last past the first round. Just too many teams desperate of a new QB.

Yeah, I just started thinking the tacks are gonna need a QB if they wanna cut ties with Locker being so injury-prone. They could take him in the 1st. Hopefully he slips to the 2nd.
Ugh this Baylor game needs to get off TV.

Definitely keeping a close eye on Boyd tonight.  Excited to see him play.

I think this game, along with the Bowl game, will be huge for Tajh's draft stock.

Typically, I'd agree.  But I think Gurley is the type of back that you'd have to make the exception for.
Connor Shaw 2014
