Quote:You know what? I agree. I don't think she's that great. She's kind of "plastic." She has kind of a manufactured look. Lots of work on the hair, tons of makeup, beached teeth, and obsessive dieting, can make a lot of women look like that. It's all effort. Underneath all that she has average features.
I know and agree. You can go down to River City Brewing Company on any given Friday/Saturday night and see 10 just like her or better.. Not taking anything away from her, just the truth though..
Quote:I have seen plenty Jaguars' games and quarterback is NOT our biggest need.
Great. Let's draft Clowney or Bart or whoever and watch Gabbert/Henne for another year. I don't think this city can stomach another season like these past two. Hello, London?

He's just trolling. Or he has serious mental health issues.
I actually gave him too much credit before. But then he logged in and post that....
Quote:McCarron supporters are generally defensive-minded people who are so enamored with the thought of their franchise becoming a 2000 Ravens redux that only needs a breathing body at quarterback to dominate. Nevermind that this is the year 2013 and the best way to find consistent success is to draft a perennial Pro Bowler at the sport's most important position, and that it's ridiculously difficult to build a roster talented and deep enough to carry a game-manager in the passing game.
truth ^^^^
I wouldn't mind McCarron - but only as the 2nd QB taken by Jax after someone like Bridgewater and if it was on the 3rd day in the draft.
Quote:As for McCarron, I imagine he would have been a Ketchman favorite. The Ketchman mock would have been McCarron in the first round, Aaron Donald in the second round, Carlos Hyde in the third.
LOL.
So true.
Quote:Yes a 3rd year QB who lead his team to the playoffs every year and gets better every year, he isnt an elite QB but he still is a very good QB.
Everybody is not gonna be Brady, Manning, Brees, Rodgers and even those guys all were not who they are now right away. its a shame now a days young QBs dont get the chance to develop, and if they are not great right away people act like they are not good.
Dalton wasn't very good, isn't very good, and never will be very good. He is perfectly average, and perfectly average QBs don't win Super Bowls. He's the textbook definition of QB purgatory.
At some point in this season, the mediots and Cinn fans questioned whether or not Dalton will be their long term answer at QB. Dalton this season has been average to good -- only one game against the Jets was he "very good". He's not a bad QB, but with the squad that he has right now, if Cinn goes one and done, that is a huge dissapointment.
I am probably a bigger Dalton than most I guess. He could throw for 30 TD's this season. He's gotten better every year he has played. I think for him, it will come down to what he does in the playoffs this year. They will probably be the 3 or 4 seed, so they will have a home game.
In this day and age of the NFL, 4k passing yards and 30 TDs mean little compare to how it was 10 years ago. It wasn't that long ago that Matt "pick 6" Schaub threw for over 4.5k+ yards, now he's getting replaced next season. The important thing is to consistently play well throughout the season. Luck,Cam and Wilson have lesser stats than Dalton, but no one would pick Dalton over any of those players.

What has Luck done that makes him all that much better than Dalton?
Nobody would take Dalton over Luck.

I don't disagree. But that wasn't my question.
Their stats and team record aren't much different, are they?

More 4th Quarter comebacks.
How many comebacks does bortles have this season?
Quote:More 4th Quarter comebacks.
Dalton has a better comp% and averages more TD's per start.
Luck has a better win% and more yards per start.
Their INT's are about identical.
They really aren't much different.

The Bengals challenge the Seahawks as the best overall roster in the NFL. The Colts challenge the Jags as the worst overall roster in the NFL.
The QBs are the only thing that keep those two teams relatively even. I'm embarrassed that you are so football unsaavy that you are actually comparing the two.

Dalton is playing with SB talents. In fact, earlier in the season, many people actually questioned whether Dalton was the one holding them back.
Don't get me wrong. Dalton isn't as average as some here claim he is, but so far he's not a very good QB, either.

Well would you rather be like the Seahawks and Bengals who drafted qbs late or the colts and us who if you miss on the qb you'll be still drafting top 5 over and over ?

Lol...really this debate again? Apparently common logic still doesn't apply here.
The Bengals and Seahawks were stacked, and they happen to find a decent QB in Dalton and the 'Hawks just got really lucky in Wilson.
You really need to go back to the chart on the probability of success between first round QBs and QBs in the later rounds.
Bottom line is this: if this team doesn't solve the QB situation within the next two year, say "hello" to London?
