Quote:I always bought clumping litter so it would be impossible for a dog to only eat the poop.

Well they get a little litter in with it too, but the main objective is to get to the poo, not just eat the litter.

Why do dogs want to eat turds anyway? Especially if they are covered with non-living grainy stuff?

I don't have a clue, but they do seem to love them! Sick
I am glad cats don't eat poop.

BTW I have to put off cat hunting until next year

I am still hoping I can adopt a kitty before my 40th birthday. That would be the best birthday gift ever and nothing can get close.

Quote:You could probably find one on craigslist.
Lol!

Be careful. I heard beavers gotten from Craigslist bite and carry disease.
I officially will start looking for my next cat after the first anniversary of my old girl's Rainbow Bridge crossing.

I'm sure you'll make some kitty very happy that you rescued him/her, and give them a good home.

No doubt about that! I will do whatever it takes to make sure we have a long, happy life together  Step 1 is done: checking open hours for Gainesville Pet Rescue, which is a no-kill shelter for cats and dogs.
It finally happened: On Thursday, January 12, 2017 I adopted a mostly white 6-7 month old kitten at a local shelter. She has some yellow on her tail, so I named her Daisy. Unfortunately my computer isn't reading my memory card, so I can't post pictures yet - but I can't take many anyway because the shelter vet shaved way too much fur off when she was spayed. She is fine, but runs under the bed when Mom enters from the garage and managed to find a big hole in my box spring I did not know existed. Life is so much better with a cat to pet, cuddle, and play with.

Congratulations!!
Thanks Bunnie. I love her and hope she keeps getting better.

Is the thread title a noun or a verb?
It's plural :teehee:

If you don't know, you never read it.
I wonder if JW pets her kitty?

Prolly abuses the hell out of it.
Like Trump style, she grabs them by the kitty. Meow,,,

If I had a kitty, I would probably pet it everyday.

Winona has a big brown beaver. At least that's the story going around.
