Quote:Yep, you summed it up perfectly here. I'm glad the titans are going to be becoming the Jaguars of the last decade up in Nashville. I don't expect the Jaguars to win this weekend but within two years I expect the Jaguars to be well ahead of the titans thanks to getting a decent QB. The titans will be suffering for years to come like the Jaguars did during the Del Rio era. Always good enough to keep the run of mediocrity going, never good enough to actually make it over the hump.
wishful thanking!! Just because you get the first pick does not mean you make the right pick. Just saying you are the hags

You're right keep waiting for Locker to take you to the promise land

I sure will you keep waiting on the Draft so you can get your hopes up to be disappointed come reg season and the cycle starts over
Quote:No one here really expects an upset or win, doesn't mean we hold the tacks in high regards. You guys are basically are in the same place as us 3 years ago. The longer it takes for you guys to start over the better for us, so by all means continue with what your doing up there.

Locker will never win you guys a championship, I honestly don't even see him holding the starting job to injury prone. You could say Gabbert has been a swift death blow for us, but Locker he looks like he's going to slow bleed the tacks for years to come.

Uh...this time three years ago we were 5-3. Much better than 0-9. So not the same place as the Jags currently sit. I'm not sure why you even bring up past seasons anyways. Past is exactly what it is, past. I guess when you're 0-9 thats all you have to talk about though

Locker will never win us a championship? And Gabbert will for the Jags? And he's not injury prone either?

I wouldn't expect a tacks fan to get it... but uhh... we won't be sticking with Gabbert after this year.  You guys however?  You'll be fine ordering your Locker jersey.  It should be good for a while.
You're right, I don't get it with anything to do with the Jags. Not a fan of them so don't know everything going on unlike everyone here who thinks they seem to know EVERYTHING going on with the Titans. Or any team for that matter.

Personally, I think we're just trying to divert our attention away from thinking about our Jags.

...  just play along with us

I said you are in the same position the Jaguars were in 3 years ago, meaning the 2010/2011 Jaguars team. Building a foundation around a flawed QB that is completely average at best and will never win you a championship. Apparently you tacks read as well as you count.

Obviously the Jaguars are not building nor counting on Gabbert to do anything, he's not even starting for us anymore. While we rebuild you'll continue to be completely average and never win anything for the next 3-4 years. I'm happy about that, so enjoy the meaningless win on Sunday cause that's all the tacks are going to do under Locker, win meaningless games.

Well, the Jags are not 0-9.  Not yet, anyway.
Crystal Ball says......

tacks - 27

Jags  - 17

I agree with this assessment of the Titans. They look like a 7-9 to 9-7 team from now and into the near future. To call them the Jaguars of a few years ago is accurate.

The Locker era is the era of the slow bleed. The analogy makes good sense to me.

2010- VY was still the QB

2011- Matt Hasselbeck started a good majority of the games and Titans finished with 9 wins.

. Do everyone a favor, and act like you know something about the Jags and leave things about the Titans to Titans fans. K? thanks

Reading comprehension.  I know it's a problem for tacks fans.  But seriously. Try and keep up.

The 2010 Titans were int he same position the 2013 Jaguars are in

See, I made the font red
and put a strike through what was NOT being said.

And I made the font BOLD and did not strike through what was being said.

When my daughters get home from school, I can have them draw a picture for you in paint to demonstrate what is being said.  I'm sure they can understand it.  I don't know why you can't.
Ehhhh, I dunno guys, the Titans don't look too bad this year...

I want to lose every game this year for Teddy. I just want us to be competitive in the process. Like if we lose every game the way we played against Denver.

I'd take the Jags +13 this week.

That's about as optimistic as I'll get.

Laughing I don't know how else to word it for him
Told you the Jags would win.  Upset of the week.

Haha, where are those tack posters now.  Locker is no frachise qb.  You guys aren't that good.
