Guess your right. Jaguars are more competitive than the Chiefs.

Yes. The 60's were a great time to be a Chiefs fan. Congrats.

You're certainly gathering tons of support in your movement.

See ya.

Since 2000 KC has 97 wins, Jags have 91. Both have 3 playoff games, KC is 0-3, Jags are 1-2. I'd say their pretty even in overall performance.

Quote:I'm not the one complaining about not getting enough discounts or free gifts. I made the comparison because you pointed to the KC thing as an example on how to cater to fans while casually ignoring the fact the Jags are offering a season ticket bonus unparallelled in the NFL. Personally I wouldn't care about Teal Deals or getting free jerseys or anything other, I buy my tickets because I want to, not because they're cheap or I get promotional deals.

Quick search shows the Raiders offer comparable plans and includes a season ticket holder gift.

Falcons offer steeper discounts, meet & greets with players, exclusive media content for season ticket holders.

Texans offer comparable plans, including souvenir tickets.

Vikings offer comparable plans

Cardinals offer steeper discounts and preferred parking.

Browns offer steeper discounts and season ticket holder gifts.

These are just a few that I pulled up on the first page of a google search in about 5 minutes.

Don't make it sound like the Jaguars are doing anything different than other teams when they arent

This does not support your argument of horrible product that should be boycotted especially with 22 losses coming in the last 2 seasons.

Where do you think those teams got the idea for those plans? Teals Deals was an unprecedented promotion in the NFL and a lot of people mocked the Jags for it, saying they needed $3000 worth of discounts to sell tickets. Then people saw how much tickets sales increased compared to the 2009 season, and guess who created their version of Teals Deals?

As for other teams offering slightly better discounts or promotions; then go buy their tickets. Unlike you, people on this board buy tickets because they want to. Not because they can save money.
Quote:This is for all the season ticket holders for the Jacksonville Jaguars; I ask that each of you take into consideration the subpar product that has been put on the field for the last decade and ask why we are continually throwing our  hard-earned money away. This team has not been competitive and has not had a home playoff game since January 2000.

There is no commitment to the season ticket holders as those who purchase "single game" tickets get 2 free beverages while the season ticket holders get a "Daily's" clear bag with the purchase of 2 season tickets. You know the same bag that is being sold at Daily's Liquor for $5 with a free $5 car wash.

There is not a care in the world about the long-term stability of this franchise in Jacksonville, but I will say the $60 million dollar scoreboards will sure look nice when the Monster Truck Rally comes to town.
No offense, but if you are leaning towards giving up on this team because you feel you're being short-changed, then I suggest to go ahead and head for the door. Be thankful you have an NFL team to see 8 (7 for the next 3 years) times a year. Yes, the current state of the team is depressing, but being a "true" fan means sticking through the filth and hoping for the best. Everyone who is complaining about the state we're in, just suck it up. It ain't going to change this year;and it's not going to be much better next year. If you can't wait and be thankful for an NFL franchise, then just bandwagon between the winning teams and be like a lot of those terrible towel fans you see everywhere. We're going to get better. It's just going to take time. Everyone who wants to jump ship, feel free to. Either that or stop complaining. You're complaining ain't going to change this season's outcome.

Go Jags!

It's a pretty simple concept. If you don't want to go...don't go. They don't OWE you a damn thing.

I'm sure if they gave you a car you'd find something to complain about anyway.

Technically, if you bought tickets they do owe you entry into the stadium.

Actually you are incorrect even though you are making a lame attempt at being funny. There are many reasons they can deny you entrance to the stadium....even if you have a ticket.

That's only because the ticket holder broke the agreement between them and the Jaguars ie. it's an exception.

So, in other words, you're admitting your first statement is incorrect.

I never said they owe me anything, this entire argument started because I said they don't care about the long-term commitment of the fans. They offer stupid discounts to those who purchase single game tickets. I didn't bring up Teal Deals because the majority of them aren't useful for someone who lives 2+ hours from Jacksonville.

Why should they send out surveys asking opinions of the season ticket holders if it is not a consideration of the organization. Am I the only one that got a survey saying they were looking at giving season ticket holders a signed football, custom jersey, signed helmet, etc. and asking which one of those would a season ticket holder be interested in.

I took at least 4 surveys that were emailed to me in the last year and nothing they listed on the survey they suggested came to fruition.

The last survey I got they couldn't even get my account information right. Organizations that care would take the time to make sure their product is accurate before sending it out.

No, when someone buys a ticket they owe the Jaguars 2 things; money and good behavior. In return the Jaguars owe them entry into the stadium. It's not until the ticket buyer fails to meet his end of the deal that the Jaguars can refuse entry.
My head hurts...
I don't live in Jacksonville so who can tell me which of the TEAL DEALs are available either before 9am on a Sunday morning or after 5pm on Sunday?

If the TEAL DEALS are so great and you can save $3000 dollars, I will sell my 2 TEAL DEALS to the first person that offers me $500 dollars.

C'mon it's a great deal, I'm saving you $5500 dollars.

It's very simple; If you think the price of the season tickets isn't worth it; THEN DON'T BUY TICKETS. For someone as obsessed with money and value as you are, you're having an astoundingly hard time grasping this very simple concept.
