Quote:I don't live in Jacksonville so who can tell me which of the TEAL DEALs are available either before 9am on a Sunday morning or after 5pm on Sunday?

If the TEAL DEALS are so great and you can save $3000 dollars, I will sell my 2 TEAL DEALS to the first person that offers me $500 dollars.

C'mon it's a great deal, I'm saving you $5500 dollars.

Geezus, you whine a lot.
Quote:This is for all the season ticket holders for the Jacksonville Jaguars; I ask that each of you take into consideration the subpar product that has been put on the field for the last decade and ask why we are continually throwing our  hard-earned money away. This team has not been competitive and has not had a home playoff game since January 2000.

There is no commitment to the season ticket holders as those who purchase "single game" tickets get 2 free beverages while the season ticket holders get a "Daily's" clear bag with the purchase of 2 season tickets. You know the same bag that is being sold at Daily's Liquor for $5 with a free $5 car wash.

There is not a care in the world about the long-term stability of this franchise in Jacksonville, but I will say the $60 million dollar scoreboards will sure look nice when the Monster Truck Rally comes to town.

You know not what you sayeth...

We've been more competitive than you imply. We the fans got what we wanted, a coach and GM that will make this franchise respectable again. All we the fans have to do is be patient and enjoy the ride when it arrives because it's coming...

And threads like this are the reason I just cant post on here much anymore.

But see you again when you bandwagon back after Teddy leads us to the promise land.
Do us a favor and make sure you don't reproduce.

Left AND the right, is that what you're going for?

Well, it looks like the OP is rallying quite a movement here.  Lots of folks ready to stop attending games.  What's the count up to?

Oh....... just one.

Quote:I purchased 4 jerseys at 110 dollars a piece (CSII, Blackmon for me and Scobee & Poz for my wife) as well as 5 polos at 60-70 dollars a piece(4 for me and 1 for my wife), 4 different hats at 25-30 dollars a piece (2 for me and 2 for my wife).

Jerseys = $440 (including tax as women's jerseys were less expensive)

Polos = $250 (approximate)

Hats = $110 (approximate)

Merchandise Total = $800 (all wasted because now all new logos and uniforms)

Then we spent about $30-$40 a game on concessions

Easily over the $1000 dollar mark. Then you count a 2 hour drive and the gas spent driving to and from the game, every game we leave at 7am and don't get home until well after 7pm.

I have invested a lot into this team for absolutely nothing in return.
The merchandise that you speak of in now called "Throw Back"...

Quote:Yes those Jaguars Rewards are a real convenience to those of us that don't live in Jacksonville. I drive over two hours every game day to watch this garbage that trots out onto the field for the past 6 years.

I don't care if we win or lose, I know that every week half of the teams and their fans will feel the pain of a loss. Thats not important, all I ask for is be competitive, this team has not been competitive since I have been a season ticket holder. At least other teams that lose have some sort of excitement, unless your a sadist I don't see where there is any enjoyment at attending a home game as of late.

Also, you say that the scoreboards are going to be funded 1/3 by the owner and 2/3 by the city. Guess those lovely ticket prices will continue to rise, don't be naive and drink the kool-aid thinking he isn't making that money back 10 fold.

Khan is a businessman, and he wouldn't do something unless he made a profit. I spend thirty minutes filling out a survey the jaguars send me even though they can't even get my name right. I get "jaguars rewards" for businesses in Jacksonville even though they know I live over 2 hours away; you're right, I am truly valued as a fan of this organization.

Last year alone I spent over 1000 dollars in the stadium on merchandise and drinks that only go to reducing future ticket prices, no reduction at the time of purchase. It's all a ploy to try and lure you into renewing tickets to watch the garbage they will put onto the field the next year.
The fact that you don't live here doesn't negate the fact that perks for being season ticket holders do indeed exist. If that's your big whine, buy Dolphin tickets. I hear they're plentiful.

The fact that you are complaining that the team doesn't send you coupons that you can use where you live is laughable. Why would they? Those coupons are paid sponsorships intended to help promote LOCAL businesses. You want freebies? Get businesses where you live to buy in. Otherwise, find something else to whine about.

Interesting that you failed to mention the fact that there are also online discounts with national retailers. I guess that doesn't fit your narrative?

Fans who whine because they're not getting enough free crap are pathetic. The Jags still have some of the lowest ticket prices in the league. You want handouts? Stay home.
LOL

If Caldwell drafts a decent QB they will have better attendance next year.  I'll be at every home game in November and December next year regardless.

We get it.  You're bitter.  Enjoy that.   Most of us are holding out hope because we aren't fair-weather fans.

I never said I wanted handouts, I asked why single game ticket purchasers get a better deal than season ticket holders. They don't purchase exhibition games and only pay $10 dollars more on average.

You sound like Mark Lamping with the bull crap about how low the ticket prices are. Maybe thats because we have one of the lowest CPI's out of all of the NFL markets. The dollar goes further in Jacksonville than it does in Tampa, Miami, New York, San Francisco, Seattle, Dallas, Houston, Atlanta. Ever think that is why the ticket prices are lower here; has nothing to do with the team "wanting to give us a deal". Anyone who had economics in high school could understand that.

We went 2-14 least year and we still have 60k in the seats every game. We'll be fine.

Guaranteed no matter who they draft the attendance will not be better next year. There is not a QB out there that is "decent" enough to turn around what garbage this organization is trying to market as an NFL team.

Explain what NFL free agent would want to come to Jacksonville that is a top-tier talent? Which players on the tail end of their rookie deals that were drafted by the Jaguars would want to return; any decent player will want to move on to a better team and we can't franchise tag all of the decent players we have.

I've been to every game this year and trust me there might have been 60k tickets distributed but there were more than 7,000 empty seats at EVERY home game so far this year.

It's ok when they build those scoreboards and swimming pools they will just remove 5-6,000 seats so it looks like attendance hasn't dwindled.

Doesn't matter, tickets sold are tickets sold and it's cash in the bank for the Jags.
Quote:I never said they owe me anything, this entire argument started because I said they don't care about the long-term commitment of the fans. They offer stupid discounts to those who purchase single game tickets. I didn't bring up Teal Deals because the majority of them aren't useful for someone who lives 2+ hours from Jacksonville.

Why should they send out surveys asking opinions of the season ticket holders if it is not a consideration of the organization. Am I the only one that got a survey saying they were looking at giving season ticket holders a signed football, custom jersey, signed helmet, etc. and asking which one of those would a season ticket holder be interested in.

I took at least 4 surveys that were emailed to me in the last year and nothing they listed on the survey they suggested came to fruition.

The last survey I got they couldn't even get my account information right. Organizations that care would take the time to make sure their product is accurate before sending it out.

Considering the fact that probably 95-99% of Jag season ticket holders live in the area, it doesn't take a rocket scientist to determine why the Teal Deals cater to local fans. Apparently you're the exception. Pretty pathetic attempt on your part to try to get others to join your estrogen heavy attempt at a boycott. Go bigger next time and just cancel your tickets.

"They surveyed me then didn't listen. Boo hoo. "
