I only laugh to keep from crying.

Nice one
Quote:Could you break down his INT % into 2 categories...#1 when it matters (critical point in a game) and #2 when it doesn't?
Agree.  I would like to see his INT's when it matters (probably near 80%) and his touchdown passed when it matters (near 50%).  Thats my guess.

Space coast.  You can give his stats, his numbers in the last 5 games, whatever excuse you want about coaching and O-line ect...  We have all been watching football for most of our lives, and Blake Bortles looks like one of the QBs that will never be any good.  I actually started rematching last years games and figuring out how many touchdowns vs ints he threw when it counted, I'm about halfway through the season and its awful.

Honestly I hope the Jags get rid of Caldwell along with Gus (he hired him, chose not to fire him, and helped to put him in the position to fail for at least 2 years).  And I hope whatever new GM/Coach come in here, they bring another QB in to replace blake until they draft their guy.  I don't care who it is.  He just has to play AVERAGE. Do you understand how hard it is to be THIS bad EVERY year!?
Quote:Steve Young record in Tampa 3-16

Steve Young record in SF 91-33

Judging QB's purely on wins is stupid
We can agree on this, the "QB winz" people are silly.

The eye test and the rate stats though...those are extremely ugly no matter how you slice it.
So, this 2-9 record is just a pigment of my imagination.......

This is pretty much a carbon copy of my thoughts on the whole friggin thing.

For a team as bad as the Jaguars are under Bradley when does an INT *NOT* matter? I see some dumb stuff posted around here.

Blake is a GOD amongst men. You guys should just be happy he hasn't exposed the Jaygwires to the public about what actually happens on the inside. LOL

Bortles looks like he will NEVER be good? Eh....he was good at age 23. How do you come up with these things? His season at age 23 was the BEST QB season in Jags history. You people are hilarious
It's cute that Jonathan's mom is letting him use the internet. Too bad he wastes his time trolling the Jags MB.
Now would seem to be a good time to revisit the opinions stated by some of the crazier member(s) of the board concerning the abilities (or lack thereof) of Blake F Bortles.

The guy is not going to get any better.
My calculator broke when I tried to calculate it

would have been nice if this staff was fired last year...  huh?

New ways for us to be embarrassing in defeat.

I had a feeling. Is this not proof he can't take care of a football! ?

Not bad, record for most pick six QBs in first 3 years of playing and he didn't even play those 3 seasons entirely yet.

Combine that with being the QB with most interceptions since he entered the league, most batted down passes QB since entered the league and that he has 11 pick 6 against 10 wins and well....wow..

Nope. It's proof that the #26 ranked scoring defense made him throw those.

Blakes performance, now thats the quintessential example of competition. It takes great competition to out-Gabbert Blaine damn Gabbert, but dammit we've done it.

I can't wait to see how bad the next guy and next regime is.

While this post is very wity... It's clear that Bbint and the offense around him are much better than the blaine gabbert offense of days gone by.

I still think we need to take a clothes hanger to Bbint and flush him straight down the toilet. But he's still a better qb than gabbert ever will be.
