Quote:I don't exactly have my finger on the pulse as I've lived in Florida for 15 years.  From talking to people back home, a team within 5 years seems unlikely. There's still no legit stadium or even stadium site, with multiple would-be ownership groups that go for each others blood anytime the league even glances at LA.

I do think they'll get one eventually.  Although probably closer to 10 years. The team? Who knows by then.

Thanks for your input.

In the next 2 years,   the Raiders,  Chargers,  and Rams will all have opportunities to move based on their lease situations.       The common denominator with all 3 teams is each used to be based in Los Angeles.       If Los Angeles can come up with a strong unified stadium proposal,     that would present a great opportunity to lure one or two of these teams back.       Yet,   it's also realistically possible that all 3 teams will use Los Angeles as leverage to get a better stadium deal in their current city.

In a few years,   another team that could easily be in play as a team that will move is the Bills.     Especially with owner Ralph Wilson already in his mid 90's and a declining population in Greater Buffalo.      While that might be the time frame when Los Angeles is ready to build a stadium that satisfies the NFL,     Toronto seems more likely as a destination for the Bills if they eventually move.        Of course,  money can change that quickly.
