Didn't know he had a liver transplant. Never was a huge fan of Velvet Underground, but I recognize their influence.

Still, may he RIP.

I hadn't heard about the transplant either.
I'm kinda somewhat a little bit but not really well yeah a little bit upset that this thread has only two replies. Come on, this was Lou Reed.

Lets take a walk on the wild side, shall we?

I figured there'd be a bit more interest too...but the Jags in London kinda over shadowed it.
Lou Reed had no talent to begin with

But

RIP

Whoa harsh. In today's day of overly commercialized pop music, I think we can overlook Reed's negatives and see him as quite a respective musician in a relative perspective.

That's why I don't listen to pop music. I'm an Old Metal-head

I don't think the phrase "pop music" has ever been used in connection to Lou Reed.
With the exception of one song, I wouldn't recognize any of his music.
First Donna Reed, now Lou Reed.   Note to Ed Reed - be careful.

What's up with all the Reeds dying?

If you've never listened to Transformer, you're missing out.  Great album.  Viscous, and Satellite of Love are my favs.  Great Album.
