Didn't know he had a liver transplant. Never was a huge fan of Velvet Underground, but I recognize their influence.

I'm kinda somewhat a little bit but not really well yeah a little bit upset that this thread has only two replies. Come on, this was Lou Reed.

Whoa harsh. In today's day of overly commercialized pop music, I think we can overlook Reed's negatives and see him as quite a respective musician in a relative perspective.
