Teddy Bridgewater is the best QB in this class, most likely the best player. I have seen a whopping three or four people disagree with that.
I am trying to figure out why such an astute student of football such as yourself really cares that four people don't feel the same way you do about Bridgewater.

This is a college football forum where people can talk about other QB prospects, but someone talking about QB not named Bridgewater and what that other guy could bring to the table as a football player doesn't mean they don't want Bridgewater.

They aren't called mouthbreathers for simply liking a different QB....they are called mouthbreathers for liking another QB that doesn't possess the kind of traits that translate to making a good NFL QB.

I don't think Mariota will be anywhere near as good as Bridgewater but at this point, I'd be happy with anyone not named Gabbert or Henne, as bad as that sounds

Exactly why people shouldn't be wasting their time with him.(Mariota) A QB "better than Henne/ Gabbert" isn't good enough.
We've settled for lesser QB for years and look where it has got us.
We finally have a good opportunity to get the best. A QB who is being compared favorably with one of the better QB prospects of the last decade (Luck).

Have many people on this board said he's not? It's not as if TMD was some Teddy Bridgewater crusader. He's been the near unanimous choice for the first pick since the year started. Other than the occasional Clowney vote, I rarely see anybody that suggests anybody other than Bridgewater for the first pick.

Yep, and its about Teddy's game having the important attributes that translate into successful NFL QB.
For such a good QB draft as this upcoming one is touted to be.....I'm not really seeing it much after Teddy. I'm not.
