Quote:I highly recommend plastic bags
Are you referring to the plastic bags with the stylish teal zip ties?
Quote:Were you there?

Maybe he didn't want to talk about how empty the stadium was because it wasn't?

I was there. It was obviously not a sellout, but it was a decent crowd.
I was not there, I was in the secondary market (Orlando) and was the only person in the building with teal on.  And only dealt with hate for Jaguars and multiple people laughing about how empty the stadium was, this started early in the first half and became quite the topic for the one TV that the game was on.

Tell the Orlando people that the jags are way better than their NFL team... Oh wait... Yeah, it must suck to be them.

Better yet, tell him how empty the dwightless howard arena is going to be when they have another season winning less than 25 games this year.

You'll get the "I'm not even a Magic fan. I'm a fan of (insert name of good team, Miami/OKC/San Antonio, etc). Orlando has to be the number one bandwagon city in America.

What made you come to this conclusion tommy?

It wasn't empty.  Not early in the game.  Yes, the fans started leaving when it became clear the game was over, but who wouldn't?

This was during the pregame as people were still flowing in.  Empty?  Hardly.

You've never been to Atlanta or Miami then.
FBT for some reason I always thought you were the guy in the first row in the north endzone that always wears the tank top and has the Jag hat on.  The one with the fangs.  Kind of disappointing you aren't.

I think Atlanta is more apathetic to their own pro sports teams than actually bandwagon.

I get you two mixed up all the time when it comes to responding to your drivel.

Alrighty. Rock on bro.

Does anybody in Orlando even care about the NFL?  If they want to follow a close-to-local team (and maybe get to an occasional game) they have to choose between us and the Bucs. Sad The combined 0-13 has sucked all the football energy out of town
You all realize that the major money made by NFL comes from media and licensing???  Even if Jags bought out a few thousand  upper deck seats, costs about $50K...  they don't want blackouts....period....  Khan has probably already added $50MM in value to the Jags in a couple of years so $100K of purchased tickets for good will is nothing...  spent lots more than that on stadium upgrades..  Real Jag fans shouldn't worry..  Plus, with the revamped stadium next season, who knows what it'll look like...

The key number is not attendance, it's tickets sold. I've been a STH for 7 yrs or so, and I haven't been to a game this year. My tickets still count as being sold even though I haven't been there. It's too much trouble for me to load up the family to go watch that mess in person. Buying tickets is me doing my part in helping keep the Jaguars in Jacksonville, you don't need to attend, just buy.

So you buy tickets but don't use them? Ok.
Yes. I want to do my part to help keep the team here. If I feel like going, I go, if not, I stay home.
Plus, I don't consider watching the Jaguars getting obliterated a good time.
