A loss today would drop them to 4-3. They will probably be underdogs against Georgia, FSU and South Carolina. So it is not out of the question that Muschamp could go 6-6 in two of his three years in Gainesville. Can he survive that?

Zook's record in Gainesville was 23-14. If the Gators go 6-6, Muschamp's record will be 24-14.

Whoever thought Murphy or Driskel could play QB should be fired.

Want to know why the Gators are struggling. They got the #3 QB on this list.

Look at numbers 1, 2, 6, 12 and 14.

Wasn't Jeff Driskel the top-rated overall prospect in the nation the year he was recruited? Last year, he was clearly our best quarterback. He was just in a slump this season.

Tyler Murphy actually made some Gators fans think the best thing that happened to Florida was Driskel breaking his leg until we went to LSU.
The QB play at UF is horrible.  The Gators can't run since the other team has 8 or 9 in the box. Murphy may be a more happy feet guy then even Gabbert.  It has been rough at QB for UF since Tebow graduated.

Murphy had never attempted a pass in a college game before Driskel got hurt, so I am giving him a pass this year (pun not intended). If he struggles again next season, I will be concerned.

Well #6 was given an offer from Florida but I think this was after someone else already commited.

He struggled against teams that others have had no problems scoring against. If I was a Gator fan and Murphy and Driskel are the future...I would be very very worried.

I knew that was going to be a problem when I saw Driskel on crutches. Quarterback play is expected to get worse when a starter gets hurt like that.

Hopefully Will Muschamp will recruit two better quarterbacks after the season is over.
Yeah and who do you suppose they hire?

We probably don't need to use the "if" anymore lol

James Franklin?

The QB play was iffy with Driskel.....if he does not find a QB one thinks Gator Nation will quickly lose patience.  Realistic the Gators probably have two more losses ahead (UGA and FSU) and another probable (USC)..not sure how many 6 loss seasons the Gator fans will tolerate.

He was the #1 Read option guy. Not pro style.
Lets not forget the offensive play calling. Screens, runs up the middle and 3 yard passes. I really don't know how you gator fans watch that every week. It is brutal.

Tennessee beat South Carolina and Vanderbilt beat Georgia, so those games might not be as bad as you expect.

I thnk Jeff Driskel was in a funk. Also, Miami is a good team, so I am not surprised Florida lost there. But I am not stupid enough to think we don't need to recruit some quarterbacks.

It is not all short plays. There are times when we look pretty good.

I overslept today and decided not to watch a game that was 3/4 over.
Florida lost to a better football team, why should he be on the hot seat? I think he should get a pass for this year, next year things better turn around. Unless UF fall apart the rest of the year he shouldnt be on the hot seat. LSU, Mizzu and Miami are just flat out better then FL and has shown it in other games.
