The Kardashians are like what's her name... (snap, snap) Paris Hilton:  famous for being famous.  Sadly they are a reflection of our sad society.

Are you TRYING to awaken the beast? Come on now.

Famous for nothing.

Well, there was a sex tape involved early on....  so there's that.  How many inexplicable celebrities has that spawned over the past 20 years?

But, yeah, famous for nothing.   It's amazing what people will accept as entertainment.

Shh!!!
Quote:Try it out. I don't think you need to be a nerd, geek, what have you to enjoy it. It is a top notch tv program. Given to terrible episodes, but all shows do. As a sampler, try watching the TNG episode "The Measure of a Man".

Thing is, I am a nerd/geek/whatever, it just hasn't ever interested me. Just like comic books and superheroes never interested me. I'll give it a shot when I get the chance, just as I did Star Wars, it just doesn't strike me as something I'm interested in.
Quote:The title pretty much says it all.

My thing is wave-particle duality and, more broadly, quantum mechanics. No matter how much I try to wrap my head around it, the idea of something existing as both a particle and a wave simultaneously unless observed just seems weird.
I've gotta say that this is something that astounds and encourages me all at the same time.  To my mind, it actually proves some theological concepts that I can't go into here for COC reasons are quite possible.

I don't watch much TV to be honest. My fancy would be fantasy video games I suppose. I've played a number of MMOs in my day.

I'm going to hazard a guess that you grew up in that era...

I've played ST:Online and The Old Republic: Online. I couldn't really get into them. I'm just too used to traditional RPGs I guess.

Maybe hair height peaked? I mean, it'd be hard to argue with that.

Quote:Man, I do.  When I'm hot and thirsty there is absolutely nothing better than an ice cold Coke.  Not the diet or Zero stuff, the real thing.  Preferably out of a bottle, but a  can will do.  We don't want any of that overly-sweet syrupy Pepsi crap up in heah!

Coke...the drink...is my drug of choice!! Nothing better than an ice cold coke!!!
