Hope we win. We've gone from just being awwwwwful to actually being competitve, next step is winning.

Winning four games this season isn't out of the question. Especially with bradley coaching the crap out of some of these kids who have no business in the NFL. This one does have that "feel" to it.

BUT. And this is to you mad-dog, Don't make the mistake of thinking Teddy Bridgewater will be the only future pro-bowl QB being drafted next spring. He's the best overall looking, Sure but Flacco has a ring and Ryan doesn't. Consider their draft position that year. The years are flooded with examples like this that the highest drafted QB gets outplayed by a lower pick. MAtter of fact, I think Its better than 50% odds. Peyton Manning and Matt Stafford are the only first QB's taken in recent memory that in their respective drafts have played out to be better than the rest of the QB's. Too close to call regarding Newton/Locker and Luck/Griffen/Tannehill.

Wilson, Kaepernick, Brady, Farve, Unitas, and MANY more QBs drafted in round 2 or later that have gone to prove themselves as franchise QB's.

I strongly doubt this. Chargers just beat Colts and are looking to go above .500. Their pass rush was one of the primary reasons they won. Luck just couldn't get going.
Quote:Yes.  Have you seen our team perform this year?

Yes, I have seen this team perform a lot better since Blackmon has returned.

This years draft isn't about the difference between a Flacco &  Ryan. This draft is the difference between a Manning or a Luck and whats leftover after.

Its not always about "better team", its sometimes about "spots" i.e. when you play another team. Otherwise the phrase "any given Sunday" would have never come into existence.

The Jags are getting San Diego at a good spot here. The Jags will win the game. If there was some space between us and other teams for the #1 overall pick, I'd certainly enjoy a win, but there isn't. This team will benefit a heckuva lot more from gaining the #1 overall pick this upcoming draft than accumulating a few meaningless wins, thats for sure....
Our Offense isn't good enough to beat the Chargers.  They've also scored 38 on us the last two times we played them.

Our performance against the Broncos was on Defense.  Our Offense simply won't keep up with them.  While I wouldn't count the Jaguars out of the game, I wouldn't bet on them winning either.

Let down game for Chargers but it could also be a let down game for us. Do you really think Blackmon will drop 190 again? Defense force 4 turnovers?

I think we got up for the last game since we were 27pt underdogs. Now we won't be hated on as much and players will start to ease up. I see this one being close but still a loss.

If Shorts and Blackmon both play, we have a chance. The Chargers were down 24-3 @ Oakland at one point. I'd honestly be surprised if we weren't at least competitive.

We're not winning this game... Phillip Rivers is playing at an elite level, we may keep it intersting until the Chargers make the adjustments after halftime, and Henne gets his 2 Ints. a game.
Ehhh.  Don't see it.  Jags lose a close one in my crystal ball, but I hope the OP is right.

The Jags will have to win the turnover battle and reduce the mistakes to have a chance at a win - but I still think that Rivers is able to move the ball against the Jags a little too well for our guys to come out on top.

I'll make a sig bet, sure...but lets wait until we know that Blackmon is playing.

Jags aren't winning until next year

LOL. Bridgewater is NOT NEARLY in the same comparison as luck/manning. He is good for sure but he can still easily be a bust. What on gods earth has you thinking he's a manning type prospect? I suggest you go ahead and check your wishes at the door mate because the Bucs are getting the #1 pick EASILY and Bridgewater WILL be their pick. Im willing to wager my sig and avatar on that one.

You people are forgetting Chad Henne

A. The Jags won't win. At least I doubt they will.

B. Anyone who thinks that if they do win, that it would be a bad thing, needs to turn in their fan card immediately.

What more is there to say....

im not going to say who will win,but i will say this. its a game the jags could win, they could win in any of our games this year.  I don,t want to see jags go 0-16.   I Would rathe see us win. we have us our future franchise qb. its going to be matt scout. the team is just letting him learn on practice squad first. we will sighn him in our bye week.   NO Offensse mad dog don't you ussalley say we will lose? if so this is a switch everyone else thinks we will lose except for you,and me.  i think we have a high chance to win.

Jags blow out Chargers at home. And I'm right up front to see it happen.

Did you mean to say Ricky Stanzi?
Get back to reality. Bolts are gonna murder us.
