Agreed.  Who are you picking to win?  Score prediction?

Great weekend of college football... looks like we've got another one.  Ill be back in Nashvegas!

UGA at Vandy - my two schools although I almost always pull for Vandy.  Tough loss for the Dawgs last weekend.  Mizzou was the trending upset pick with all of UGA's injuries.  Got so bad they had a guy from the scout team catching passes.  Dawgs national title hopes are done.  But they could still win the East if they can rally in time and get some help with Mizzou losing twice... which seems very possible now with their QB done.  Vandy is approaching their toughest stretch.  UGA, A&M, and UF.  Although UGA is banged up and UF's offense is horrible.  Last years team could win one of those two... just arent as good this year.

other games...

FSU - Clemson - Essentially the ACC championship game.  winner will most likely play Miami or VaTech in the actual title game.  So far Jameis hasnt had a bad game.  Lets see if he can keep playing at a high level.  Not sure who I think wins.  Clemson is an odd team that seems to win the big games and lose ones they shouldnt.  although FSU took them down last year... I was at that game actually.  Neither defense could slow the other team down.  This game could be similar.

Auburn at A&M - who knew the War Eagle would turn it around so quickly.  A&M didnt look all that sharp against Ole Miss... well for stretches at least.  Not sure Auburns defense can slow down Manziel enough.

UF at Mizzou - tough break for Mizzou losing their QB.  The backup though is supposed to be a big time player.  Wonder if he'll be able to keep the train rolling.  UF got owned across both lines against LSU.  Which is a slap in the face for Muschamp because thats how he wants to win.   Any chance UF has of winning the East, they need to win this game.  Not sure I believe theyll beat both UGA and SC.

UCLA at Stanford - This game could have been the game of the week had Stanford not just lost.  Think I said in last weeks version that Stanford needed to watch out.  Trap game against a decent school in Utah.  This is another chance for Hundley to move up draft boards.

LSU at Ole Miss - tough loss for the Rebs last night.  Should have won.  Their potential great season has really gone down in flames.  LSU as always looks to be one of the best in conference.  Could slip up here if not careful.

UCF at Louisville - UCF already won in Happy Valley... and then scared SC for a half.  Should be a good game.  I think UCF has a legit shot of winning.  And Another chance to see Teddy.  Might be his toughest test yet.  Didnt think he looked as sharp as usual last week.

Texas Tech at West Virginia - Red Raiders quietly undefeated.

USC at Notre Dame - usually this is a bigger game.  USC looked a little better with Coach O last week.  Dont think they win this game though.

Washington at Arizona St - tough couple losses for UDub the last few weekends.  Another tough opponent.  Could be a hangover game and lose 3 in a row.

Iowa at Ohio St - Dont sleep on the Fightin Ferentzs.  Jake Rudock hasnt played quite as well as I was hoping he would but Iowa might be able to keep this close.

Colorado St at Wyoming - The Bronze Boot... oldest football rivalry in the western half of the country.  Supposed to snow in Laramie on friday.... sadly Saturday looks like a nice day.  This game needs to be played at night though where you know itll be cold.

FSU 45-35.
UCLA at Stanford will be fun to watch as well as FSU - Clemson! Anyone think the winner of that game moves to number 2 in the BCS?

Why next week? Late November games are more important.

Best weekend of the season so far. I am interested to see Hundley play against the Stanford defense.

Are you serious?

Of course I am. I have no reason to think a game played before the BCS polls come out is more important than a rivalry game that determines who plays in the national championship.

I echo BigJohn98's post.

Why? I need a reason for that facepalm to believe a game played next week is the most important game of the year. And why are we talking about next week, anyway?

This weekend, as in the games in the original post. The thread you are posting in. Really?

See the bolded word up there? Anybody who speaks English should know that means October 26, not October 19. Therefore, Big John was talking about Week 9.

No , I wasn't talking about week 9. Why don't you look at the date that I posted that. I'll give you a big hint: it was LAST weekend.
wow

I never look at the date. There is no reason to in this kind of thread.

Anyway, nobody has told me yet why any game played in late October is more important than some of the games played five weeks later.
