in this board, tbh. im posting this before his nationally televised game on purpose. so ive heard in this board teddy is apparently in the same breath of prospect with luck/peyton. and in some just a tad below the prospect luck is. imo its way too soon. from a scout,
Jeremiah, a former scout for three NFL teams, continued: "From the grades I've handed out, I'd have (Bridgewater) behind (Matthew) Stafford, I'd have him in that
Ryan Tannehill group, probably I'd have him behind RG III. I'd have him over (Mark) Sanchez when he came out. I liked
Alex Smith when he came out, so grade-wise I'd have him right there with
Alex Smith."

also theres a podcast debate about teddy and clowney as a prospect from former scouts but its like an hour long so i'll try listening to it later. anyways, discuss. im bumping this as scout evalutions of teddy starts rolling in.
note: that evaluation is based on teddys play last season. with that in mind, did teddy do enough this season to be on luck's spectrum, prospect wise. i dont really want to speculate so i'll just wait for more scout evaluations.
Fair question. How can you even include Luck and Manning in the same breath?
Also, one should ask themselves why Jeremiah is a former scout for 3 different teams.

LOL....he'd have Bridgewater behind Tannehill and right there with Alex Smith huh?......no wonder this is a
former NFL scout
How obsessed is Heero with not wanting Teddy Bridgewater?
Guess you missed the part about the Giants looking towards Teddy to move on from Eli and 26 NFL scouts attending his game tomorrow. Putting him on the same level as Smith and Tannehill is insane.

lets see your credentials, mr. snead or was it lefevour i forget hahaha
I would put him over Tannehill, and about the same prospect as Smith IMO

i agree hes the best qb prospect in the draft, i just dont agree about the hype hes getting in this board as the next best prospect comparable to luck.

It's not unique to this board. Ask any NFL GM.

Same here, we havn't had a good QB so long so this is what happens every year.

name some who compared teddy to luck.

Its not just on this board, many people and draftnicks consider him being a future elite QB.

No one has done that, people here have said hes right below Luck.
Jeremiah is a huge Clowney fanboy like heero

"Bridgewater is a junior and has not said if he is going to leave early, but Hubbuch noted that it was seen as a foregone conclusion among NFL observers. "Bridgewater's the best of the whole group," NFL Media draft analyst Gil Brandt told Hubbuch, meaning the best player in the entire draft and not just among the quarterbacks."

yes he can be a future elite qb, but not at the same breathe the prospect luck was, or at least i havent seen anyone compare him. at least not someone with credentials

lol what is scott wright or eric lamberts credentials, and you said NFL GM, not mock draft sites lol. and no one disputed he wasnt the best qb in the class, or at least i didnt.

There are quotes from GM's in the last link. You can keep disputing it if you want, but the fact is that Teddy is not only the best QB, but the best prospect in this draft and outside of Luck is probably the top QB prospect that I can remember. If he makes you second guess Eli Manning as your starting QB then he is something really special. 26 scouts and GM's showing up to watch a prospect in mid-October. I don't know if I can remember that kind of a hoopla.

all im seeing from a GM is this "Hubbuch quoted a NFC general manager who is extremely high on Bridgewater and said, "Any team in the top five would take a very long look at him, even if they've got a franchise [quarterback] already." Theyre second guessing eli because hes 32 years old. How does scouts and gm going to see him make him the best prospect comparable to luck? All that article is saying is that hes the best qb prospect in this draft/ gil brandt thinks hes the best overall prospect.
What exactly is Daniel Jeremiah's credentials?
Was with the Ravens for a year as a West Area Scout.
Was with the Browns for a year as a National Scout
Was with the Eagles for two years as a West Coast Area Scout
Got his first job as a scout because his father had connections with Phil Savage. Same for his second and third jobs.
