Quote:No. The paper bag because I'm embarrassed by my team, and because it's the only way I'll make it into Invesco Field alive. Out of it is a different story--if the Jaguars injure Peyton Manning, I'm liable to be stabbed.
I sincerely hope you aren't really going to represent this fan base by wearing an idiotic paper bag on your head.
Quote:Lets suppose Manning is gonna score everytime he gets the ball. Simple game plan to make it more competitive.Never give him a long field to eat up clock. Onside kick every kick off, i mean Scobee just drill one of the up guys and let it bounce around, we at least have a chance to get it. Next, leave anger on the bench give yourself 4 downs to get 10 yards, i mean what is the sence of punting to them if he is gonna score let him do it quickly and not eat up 8 mins with a long 80 yard drive. At least if the bounces go our way Manning could theoreticly never see the field. But i really dont think we could cover every onside kick. :teehee:
I suppose you think we will have more than one kickoff?
To beat the spread we have to keep Manning on the bench for as many minutes as possible. Call running plays all day. Don't call time and don't run out of bounds. Maybe we can string together a few first downs by running and then punt to him in the corner. Drop 8 guys into coverage and keep everything in front of us.
Then have Miley Cyrus twerk him on the sidelines.

Thats the spirit Chief keep jughead on the bench!
Quote:Were going to be behind early so im excited to see lots of passes thrown to our young WR corps.
Cyp and Evans are going to be beat a lot going against Manning, but I bet they make a few plays too.
Paztor seems like a possible future option at RT, so I will be watching him as well.
As much as I want to see how good Paszlor is I also think we should watch Cameron Bradfield, who will be starting his first game at like Luke Joeckel did last week. Can he play better on the left side than he ever did on the right?
I had never heard of a guy named Evans before this season, so I will be interested in seeing what he can do.

I will be shocked if we only have one kickoff because Josh Scobee did it four times in Seattle, home of arguably the NFC's best team.
This game has a "car accident" feel to it. That's part of the fascination. Nobody will admit it. But everyone is curious as to just how bad the car accident... um, I mean game will look. I bet this game will have shockingly high TV ratings and interest on Sunday.

Sadly you're right. But if somehow the Jaguars were able to stay in the game and even take the lead late, the ratings would explode. Like I said in the other thread, people love an underdog and they love seeing an underdog win.

Except the Jags.
We're like the red-headed stepchild (no offense) or the ugly duckling of the NFL currently...
Winning consistently will change that but an upset against Jughead will be glorious.

Maybe among the hardcore followers of the NFL, but for most people who follow the NFL casually the statement holds true.
Quote:It is called Sports Authority Field now.
But everyone says Sports Authority Field at Mile High. Get it right or don't get it at all.

I think the majority of the viewing audience will be with the Jaguars on Sunday. If this ends up being a game in the 4th quarter look out. The pressure of the world will be on the Broncos. I hope the Jaguars are loose and ready tomorrow.

I agree. But if we can take a moment to step out of fantasy land; we're going to get crushed tomorrow.

LOL but fantasy land is wonderful!
