Quote:Would anyone be for darfting Teddy #1 overall then taking possibly a C/OG in the 2nd then taking Manziel in the 3rd?
Sorta like what the Redskins did with darfting RGIII then taking Kirk Cousins in the 4th i believe.
If Manziel ends up transitioning well into the NFL then maybe we have some serious trade bait for someone, or maybe he ends up being better than Teddy(Highly unlikely imo, just saying).
I mean, the dude definitely has some talent, but we do have a ton of holes on this team so taking 2 qb's with the top 3 picks might be a little foolish.
How would you expect a 2nd string rookie QB to translate well to the NFL when his only reps are going to be behind the 1st string rookie QB with a little playing time during preseason? There won't be enough film on the guy in real game action for other teams to evaluate unless the 1st string guy gets injured. Then you want your #2 guy.

As a player, Bridgewater reminds me of <a class="bbc_url" href='http://www.nfl.com/player/aaronrodgers/2506363/profile' title="External link">Aaron Rodgers</a> coming out of Cal (I gave Rodgers and <a class="bbc_url" href='http://www.nfl.com/player/alexsmith/2506340/profile' title="External link">Alex Smith</a>
bottom-of-the-first-round grades in the 2005 draft when I covered the West Coast for the <a class="bbc_url" href='http://www.nfl.com/teams/carolinapanthers/profile?team=CAR' title="External link">Carolina Panthers</a>).

Bucky seemed to come away from the Rutgers game with the same opinion he went into it with. You seemed to come away (or expect others to come away) from it with a lower opinion.

yeah its the first live game ive seen of him and based on the hype hes been getting in this board, he didnt live up to it against one of the better teams in his schedule, though he still had a good game.
