Quote:Arm strength was the knock on Drew Breed.

I still hold firm to my theory that when Brees tore his labrum in SD he had a bionic arm put in to replace it!!
I think of arm strength like cab fare: You only have to have enough to get you home from the bar. If you have more than you need, you're likely to either stay and drink more, or have the cab drop you off somewhere that will get you into trouble.

The thing about Brees and his arm strength is that he compensates for not having a great arm with accuracy and his ability to play the game from the shoulders up.

Teddy has both of those things.....with a plus arm.
I just wonder if he's built stout enough

Keep tapdancing.
TB's arm strength is easily above average. i can give some examples of current NFL QBs with less than Teddy: Sam Bradford, Matt Ryan, Alex Smith, Ponder, Cassell, Dalton.

And the fact that his poise and ability to make reads are off the charts. Makes that arm strength plenty good enough.

Quote:Arm strength. For all his intangible which are awesome he has the tendency to float alot of balls which would be picked off in the NFL I'd much rather have Murray. Well have to wait till pro days

This HAS to be a troll post lol

6'3 225-230 LBs.

Seems pretty stout to me. Unless you were going off the old weight listed on sites like ESPN...

225-230? Care to share a link?
Quote:Teddy has plus arm strength, no doubt. It's not a cannon, but he makes up for it with touch. Guys like Tim Couch and Sam Bradford deserved some doubt for having subpar arm talent, but I have no idea why people were concerned about Andrew Luck.

Lol what....

This is literally the first time I have ever heard of anyone questioning Bridgewater's arm strength. This forum is hilarious. He has an absolute CANNON. He threw that 50 yard pass, almost overthrew the receiver, and he was SHORT ARMING the pass.

Search any of the preseason videos of Teddy where he talks about being up to 220-230 going into this season and how he ate like crazy this offseason.

Am I the only one that's sick of every highlight film having to have terrible music and pointless stuff edited in?

I don't need to see the guy waiting to run out of the tunnel or hear some terrible music. Just show the highlights.

Okay. I replaced it with an actual ESPN.com clip. I meant to hyperlink to the timestamp in the youtube video but this forum wants to embed videos now.
the only knock ive read/seen on teddy was that he take a lot of sacks but he seemed to have improved that this season and his level of competition.
