And Geno is a "second round QB" because he happened to slip to the beginning of the second round. By that logic, many of the best QBs in the NFL weren't worth taking in the first round. Which is ridiculous.

Nope.  I understood your point, though it wasn't a very good one.  You said because Geno fell to the second round, it is enough proof that he wasn't "worth" the number two pick, which also means anybody who even suggested him going #2 overall is a laughable evaluator.

 

However, down the road, if Geno becomes a pro bowl-level quarterback, nobody would look back and say he wasn't worth a top five selection in his respective draft.  So to criticize anybody who projected him to go high, when he was arguably the top quarterback in the draft by many evaluators, comes across as a desperate way to start an argument.  In hindsight, there are plenty of late round quarterbacks who were worth going much higher than they did.

it is laughable since they are bashing other peoples evaluation of qbs when they projected a certain qb to go top 5.

 

and youre banking on a big if. I'd be happy to admit im wrong if he becomes a pro bowl qb, i just dont understand vagrantwades constant bashing of peoples on evaluation of qbs. if geno wouldve gone top 20 or even in the first round i wouldnt be using that argument, but he fell, not just a few spots, but a full round.

Geno Smith is a first round caliber QB. It doesn't matter what round he was taken in.

And no, I'm definitely right about Teddy not having as strong of an arm as Cam Newton or Jay Cutler. They have arguably the strongest arms in the NFL.

Teddy has plenty arm strength. This is one of his strong point. What I'd like to see is for him to hit the weight room and get bigger. At 6'3 and around 200 lb isn't the ideal physique for an NFL qb.

Mentioned this a thousand times already, but he is already over 220. He mentioned this many times in interviews in the offseason.
