horse collar on lee, pi on sterling he pushed him with two hands, pi on arob, not stopping the clock, not calling the fumble, the phantom pi on the int, and even the 2 seconds past play clock going out on us, these Damm regs need to be fired immediately
Bad calls are going to be part of the game until the competition committee addresses the number of officials on the field, the age of the officials, the discipline procedures of officials, and the ability to review their calls without the coach's challenge.

It is criminal the way these calls go against the Jags. No team could win under these conditions.
I hope Gus just rips the refs a new one and pays the fine. All coaches need to start doing this. [BLEEP] the refs.
U got a point.. but damn.. a team makes its own luck.. and I dont mean cloning Andrew.
If the NFL were serious about the officiating, they would hire full-time refs.
Bills fans agreeing we got screwed multiple times in the 4th quarter.
I honestly can't believe what I just watched.
I actually stopped posting in the game-thread because I was spending too much time trying to figure out what was called and why, or why something wasn't called.
I don't know if the rules have been revamped completely in the past 2 years, if I never actually knew how to play football, or if the refs were as bad as I'm pre-disposed to thinking.
I'm just speechless. Honestly speechless that that was allowed to happen, especially after the Packers game. I guess the NFL has no fear of any repercussions from reffing like that. They know we'll all tune in next week anyway.
Anyone else exhausted after watching a Jags game?
#JAGLIVESMATTER
Refs shouldn't be determining the outcome of games.
We need to start a GoFundMe for new refs
Quote:He should have called a timeout when the play clock was going down and they got a delay of game.
He asked the Bills to kick again which resulted in a big punt return which led to a TD.
Bonehead mistakes that lead to losses.
I acknowledged his bonehead mistake (the punt). The delay was 50/50 on him and Blake. Blake could have called a timeout as well.

Actually ratings are down across the board, and I for one think horrible refs has to be one of the factors as to why. The NFL has a lot of hubris, and while I love my Jags, nothing would please me more than seeing the NFL getting egg on its face many times over
Other fans now know we dont get calls. Players also know we arent going to get calls so they are going to continue to assault our guys.

Fair point.
Down far enough for the NFL to care though? That's the real question. Based on the massive amounts of awful officiating and lack of
any improvement, it would seem that the NFL isn't too worried about the viewers they've already lost. Maybe if the number of fans who stop tuning in continues to grow they'll care. Much like you, I'd like to see the NFL with egg on its face from a massive drop in viewership based on the horrendous precedent they've set of allowing reffing like this to become the norm.
Watching a Jaguars game is just mentally draining for all of the wrong reasons. What a joke. These refs should be fined. Blatant no calls and random calls that make no sense. I pray that crew doesn't officiate a game of significance.

It's significant enough that they're considering changes to Thursday Night Football (less matchups or maybe even none at all) to avoid over saturation

Over-saturation isn't the same as over-frustration though. I'm all for getting rid of TNF though, so hopefully that's just a single small step in the right direction.
Quote:Most blatant pass interference call ever. Refs missed it.
