Quote:Most blatant pass interference call ever. Refs missed it.

At the very least, it should have been holding or illegal contact. But noooooo.
I get tired of seeing this team collectively bleeding profusely from the rectum due to unjust officiating.

BOHICA was the name of my basketball team. We only told them what it stood for after we won the game.
Quote:If the NFL were serious about the officiating, they would hire full-time refs.
Thank You!
This has been my opinion for decades. It sure didn't change after watching this game. At least 3 horrible calls against the Jaguars, including 2 in crunch time.
Also when EJ Manuel came in to draw the d offsides he kept throwing his head forward. Yeah you can't do that. Gus was pointing it out as it was happening and the ref did nothing
I have been banging this drum from the get-go and it has progressively gotten worse...
Honestly, if I was Gus, I would encourage my players to play past the whistle to make a statement. Refs don't want to enforce the playbook anyways, might as well make the other team pay for it.
Quote:I honestly can't believe what I just watched.
I actually stopped posting in the game-thread because I was spending too much time trying to figure out what was called and why, or why something wasn't called.
I don't know if the rules have been revamped completely in the past 2 years, if I never actually knew how to play football, or if the refs were as bad as I'm pre-disposed to thinking.
I'm just speechless. Honestly speechless that that was allowed to happen, especially after the Packers game. I guess the NFL has no fear of any repercussions from reffing like that. They know we'll all tune in next week anyway.
Agreed. No one will be held accountable either. The NFL is ran by beauracrats.

So your solution is to potentially "hurt" guys, haha, I understand the frustration but my god it's a game.
These refs other then that one questionable play. Were actually much better then others we faced.

One questionable play?
One?
Only one?
Which one?
The PI that was called.
The PI that wasn't called?
The fumble stopped by forward progress?
The refusal to stop the clock when the player is out of bounds?

No, not hurt anybody.
Play with more edge. Clearly the lines of the rulebook have been blurred by the political puppets who are the refs.

Just like how Seattle plays on defense. They set the tone of the game by finding out how far the refs will go to call the game.

This is the Jeff Fisher philosophy.

And therefore, a patently unacceptable philosophy.

My point is I don't think it's necessary to (potentially) hurt guys by playing "past the whistle" in hopes of making a "statement" to the refs, there are more mature ways of handling this
IDK how this can keep going on.... something needs to be done about this
we have now lost 3 games this year directly because of officiating. That PI call against amukamara in the 4th was an absolute joke... the non PI against our WR late, the out of bounds call... like [BLEEP] is this?
3 losses now because of refs
how can the NFL allow this to keep happening against the same team over and over

What in the blue hell are you talking about?
This was arguably the worst officiated game I've ever seen. It may be worse than week 1 vs GB simply because of the IMPACT of the calls (2 Turnovers, 2 Non Clock Stoppages, 3rd down blatant PI, Deep Pass non-call on Watkins).
The entire officiating staff of this game should be relieved of duties and never be allowed to officiate another game.

Teal time is crazy bro...I swear he's part of the organization or just in fantasy land.

Did nobody notice the horse collar tackle on Lee on the last 4th down? The whole sideline seemed to notice.
Jim Harbaugh knows how we feel.
