Simple question

I think Joeckel will.

I think Monroe has capped his potential. A definite Top-10 LT. But Joeckel can be much better.

Don't see how you can reasonably answer this, but my gut is no.

How can you not reasonably answer this?
I dunno, Joeckel just looks like he's as soft as a cotton ball.

I will readily admit that most of the time these polls are wrong, i.e. what the majority picks, but I really hope Joeckel is better.

Ima say Joeckel cause he won't be blocking Gabbert for as long as Monroe had to.

Edit: Topic and poll are two diff questions. Still Joeckel
I think he will. Not because he's the new guy and I'm hopeful but he was a better prospect coming out. His physical ability and athleticism is superior to Monroe's. Monroe was obviously pretty good but he didn't have the same bend as Joeckel. Monroe fell in the draft remember, there were questions about that bend and his athleticism. He's obviously still a good LT, but in terms of a prospect Joeckel has him beat.

He won't. And no one will care to check 5 years down the road with actual stats. It'll be a gut decision fueled by the true fan mentality that that pick was good no matter what.
Based on what I have seen so far, softness and a slowness to get in his set, I doubt Joeckel is as good even as Monroe has been.

He looks like a soft, slow 'technician', which usually means they are just a guy.

I'm concerned about the coaching, not the player(s)

He better, or the entire first offseason of this new regime is a bust.

Just call him Pillsbury guys.

But what about the past few months? :o
Neither matters if we are still losing
I picked Joeckel.  At RT (out of position), he's doing just as well as Monroe did his rookie year.  Monroe didn't look too hot this year either.

Joeckel may be as good as Monroe by the end of this season.

Joeckel vs. Monroe w/respect to an Veteran vs. a Rookie remaims to be seen...

The coaching is the least of our problems. We've turned over the roster better than 50% meaning that our 2013 year will be Extremely Long...
