The head coach's hands are pretty tied, as he can't bring in new personnel, only deal with the roster he's got.  Some thoughts...

 

Play the young Todman more to see if he can provide any spark in the running game and give him experience ....MJD is not getting much productivity and is likely gone after this season anyway.

 

Blackmon's return should assist the receivers.  

 

Give Pasztor a shot, or maybe even bring Nowak up, as the current guards are obviously not the answer.  Give Brewster some snaps at center, to find out for certain if he can or can not be a viable player for the future without Meester. 

 

I don't think any of these ideas do much to change the offensive outcome this year, but at least starts a learning and experience process for the team before next season.

i would find a offensive coach who has many years experince at gameplanning and play calling. i would hire him to teach jed fisch how to call plays and manage an offense during the game.

I put Blackmon in. I bring Nowak and Scott up.

Unfortunately sports are all fixed points in time, or I'd have went back in the TARDIS and told Wayne Weaver "Whatever you do, don't hire Gene Smith or Shack Harris, and for the love of god stay away from players named Derrick Harvey.  Ask potential GM's "Would you draft a punter in the third round?"  and sign Ray Rice in 2008 in the second round.  Oh and no to Tyson Alualu and Blaine Gabbert, yes to Jason-Pierre Paul and trade up ahead of the Patriots for Rob Gronkowski.
