Quote: Trust me, pal, this is a vindication I'd rather not have if this dumpster fire of a season is the result.
I truly believe we are on the right path. We just need a qb and our offense will at least competent.
I just hope this dumpster fire of a season leads to teddy Bridgewater or whatever qb Caldwell wants.

This and he hits on the QB pick, whoever it is.
I shudder to think of what would happen to this franchise if we have back to back disastrous seasons, finally are in a position to draft a franchise QB, and then miss on that pick.
Well they just showed on the highlights all the Colts TD's were uncontested and blown coverage That's something more worth fixing. The offense is what it is and has been for a long time. To think it could possibly improve to the point where 37-3 typical games are in our favor is unrealistic and delusional. The team has no real chance just get 0-16 and clean house.

If dont even want to think about what would happen to this franchise if we miss on another first round qb.
I'm Gus Bradley right now. I'm fixing the offense by waiting to see what Blackmon being back does. Should open up almost everybody with him back and Shorts on the other side not being double teamed.
Other than that, there's really nothing much he can do. You can only work with what's on your roster and what's on the roster just isn't that good right now.

Yeah...lets not go there.

People seem to not understand you cant make the worst starters in the league magically better. They stink, so the offense will stink.
Our issue is also receivers. Gabbert puts the ball right in the hands and we drop it entirely too much.
Be ok with going 0-16, getting first rd pick, taking TB. Having large amounts of spending cap space for free agents (sign talented and experienced players). Draft more talent. Get much better on both sides of the ball. Anyone who thought this year was going to be better was hallucinating/dreaming. This will take time.
Mike Stanzi? I really don't understand the pick up. Why not go out a get Tim Tebow. At least, the Jags would pack the stadium. Management is absolutely stupid for not bring Tim in.
Also, hand the ball off to MJD 30 times. Stop letting Glabbert throw the darn ball. He you guys haven't really, this kid is not a starting NFL QB!

Isn't the likely winless season on the heels of a 2-14 season enough of an indignity?
Why must we be subjected to the losing AND the Tebow talk (despite the fact he sucks mightily and managment has definitively ruled him out) AND the relocation talk too?!?

It has to do with the GM. His pedigree is Peyton Manning and Matt Ryan. He belives in the stand in the pocket passer big arm, tall ect...(prollly why the favortism towards BG) not in a mobile QB (not even if he is released). And Stanzi was his QB on the Atlanta draft board he wanted him to sit behind Ryan and learn and become the next ATL QB. When he saw he was available he didnt hesitate to bring him in and put scott on the PS. Now this is my opinion but if he really believs Stanzi is somthing special he may already have his QB and why throw him to the wolves in a season your not going to win much anyway, Trade back your pick and build around him. Though Teddy is a pocket passer like Caldwell likes so if we have the first pick he could go that way.

Didn't realize we were only 10 short for packing the stadium!

If Stanzi was 'something special' I don't think we would have waived, then re-signed him.
Put both Blackmons in on Offense... it will confuse the trolls.
I conduct interviews as if everything is perfect. I constantly remind people that Gabbert completed some passes against really fast players and only 3 got caught by the other team.
... I also remind people that Blaine is still suffering minor setbacks related to the 2011 strike in which his training camp was cut short.
I blame Godell for taking away our Offensive Weapon (OW) which was set to be unleashed in Week 5
Put MoJo back at KR like we originally had him his rookie year.... Promote Todman to RB... Put both Blackmons on the field on both sides of the ball... Send Jedd Fisch packing.... Draft Johnny football followed by a Large Center to replace Meester... Tell the players the game is on Saturday, so maybe they show up on Sunday.
Release both Qb's !! And Jedd Fisch !!
