I think there is at least a 50/50 chance he is Tuesday

Quote:I'd rather just let this year keep on being terrible to ensure the Jaguars get Bridgewater.
I know the bib wearers will scream and cry over it, but the last thing I want is to win a couple of meaningless games. At least with Gabbert we can be sure we'll be good at getting great draft position. Someone else could mess that up.
Bingo.
We really need to stink it up this year to have any shot at really fixing the QB situation.

Quote:Honestly lets just sign Tebow and roll with it. We tank because he's terrible and get Teddy and the rednecks get to watch their hero. Everyone wins.
I hope you know if that happened, they'd be saying someone sabotaged Tebow and that's why we didn't win with him or they were jealous of his ability or some other nonsense.

Quote:Then play Stanzi with Scott as #2..anything but this garbage. Now I have a 6 hour drive back to Atlanta to get more crazy about how bad we looked...lolMan...I only had to drive to Fernandina so I could start drinking to forget. I feel for ya' man.

Get through the bye then it's Stanzitime.

We mine as well try Matt Scott. He's an undrafted rookie, so really nothing to lose. If he plays well, maybe he can be some trade value down the line.

Quote:After what I saw today, Russell was better than Gabbert. About the only QB worse than Gabbert is Tebow. And I'm not even 100% sure of that. Its one thing to be a bad. Its another thing entirely to be downright uncompetitive. Its scary how blind some of the fans are of this team. Im very concerned right now as a Jaguar fan.
This is a serious time for the Jaguars. If Gabbert continues to start not only do you sink a season. You potentially sink a franchise.
I can remember being on this board when Leftwich and Garrard were ripped endlessly by Jaguar fans. Those QBS on their worst days were not as bad as what I saw today.
As a Colts fan I have never been so at ease in my life with our defense on the field. There literally was zero anxiety with regard to the Jaguars scoring a TD. It was one of the strangest sports feelings ever as a fan of the Indianapolis Colts.

Dude, funny enough that the other winless teams through week 4 are pretty solid at the QB position (except maybe the BUcs). Don't think we have to worry about losing Bridgewater to somebody else. Even Cleveland pulled out a W this week

Help is not on the way. Get that through your heads.
Teams are created in the off-season. We are what we are and there is no changing it until this coming off-season.
Stanzi, Scott, whoever. The result will be the same. We just have to accept it and endure. There is no alternative.

Nobody is saying we will start winning, we just wanna see player who can play, Gabbert cant play he doesnt not belong on a NFL team
