It's not Blaine Gabbert (obviously). It's not Chad Henne (obviously). It's not Tim Tebow (no matter how many tens of people want it to be).

It's Ricky Stanzi.

Ricky Stanzi who went undefeated in college bowl games.

Ricky Stanzi who went undefeated against SEC teams.

Ricky Stanzi who's got the instincts of a hawk(eye), the heart of a Chief and the elusiveness of a Jaguar.

Ricky Stanzi who makes the brightest plays when things look their darkness.

A terrible thing happened today, when Chad Henne trotted out for the 4th quarter of the game, even though anyone watching knew he had no business being on the field.

Do you guys remember when Blaine Gabbert won his last game on a college field? No? That's because he didn't. He didn't, because he was playing Ricky Stanzi.

If you love your country, Jaguars....even just the littlest bit....you will start Ricky Stanzi next week against the Colts....and it won't matter how many touchdowns Andrew Luck throws against this defense....because Ricky will throw 1 more.....and the Jaguars will march off the field victoriously.

You sold me on your son, it's Stanzi time baby.

As a Hawkeye fan...sure why not lol.

So Andrew Luck is going to let Richardson run for all the touchdowns?  That sounds awful nice of him.

I click on this thread and my iPad locked up.

Go figure.
I am fine with starting Stanzi as long as he gets us closer to Teddy

With our luck, Stanzi turns out to be average and gets a 6-10 record or something and we miss out all the top QB's next year...

What does StanziTime1 have to say about this?

The site effed up the email to StanziTime1, thus version 2 was born.

Also, Stanzi the Manzi is number 2...which is awkward since he's used to being number 1.

The easiest way to get Teddy is start Blaine.
If we really want to secure our spot for the top pick in the darft, sign me to be the QB. I can probably throw the ball like 45 yards at the most and it isn't always accurate, and I can guarantee that my pocket presence is just as bad as Gabbert's if not worse. I would also appreciate the paycheck. Plus I could keep Blackmon company on nights he wants to drink.

This is one of those times where having more numbers than one actually has a purpose  #SuperBowlStanzi (what am I doing this isn't twitter)
Thanks Alfie

Is this an appropriate time to use the term "YOLO" ?

Please go away
I wouldnt mind seeing what RIcky could do because God knows Chad Henne is not the answer to this team, and Blaine has a booboo on his hand.

The up side..... The worse my Jaguars perform, the better my golf game gets.

Why not.
I think you will see Stanzi play the last four or five games, by then Caldwell and Gus will realize Gabbert is not the answer. Henne will not be retained as a backup if Stanzi shows any promise. My Guess is we will draft a QB first round maybe bring in a free agent QB if they feel both young quarterbacks are not ready to step into the starting job. Then one of the young players will be starting during the season.
