I get a reprieve this year. Just me and Uncle Ronnie, turkey and stuff, bloody marys, football and he'll tell me if my gun collection is worth anything.

Do you just use stuffing, or stuffing and mashed potatoes like I saw when I just googled these things?

I used pancake mix, then added stuffing when it was on the griddle.


Then I topped it off with gravy, turkey meat and mac N cheese.

That sounds like the times when my student grant didn't come in till the next day and I had to make supper with whatever was left in the kitchen.

You had pancake mix, stuffing, turkey meat, gravy AND Mac and cheese already in the kitchen when you were waiting on a check?

The best part of the day is after everyone has gone home, and you make yourself a mini turkey sandwich on a brown and serve roll, with a dollop of mashed potatoes and cranberry sauce. I swear, I enjoy those little sandwiches more than I do the main meal!
