Yeah, not sure why that happened!
But my question was simply, is the 2017 draft going to help us with our number one need - quality OLinemen?
Can't see there's any superstars at the moment.

I am a huge fan of Alabama's Cam Robinson on the field, but I've read several reports where this kid is a nightmare off the field. There are a lot of red flags with him and that scares me. I'd probably pass. Other than him, I see no OT's worthy of an early first round pick.

The guard position seems heavy at the top with Pocic, Eflein, and Feeny looking to be plug and play guys. We should be able to grab one with our high 2nd rounder. Not sure how the depth is for later rounds yet.

Personally, I'd trade down from a high pick and try to get either a couple of lower first round picks or a low first and a very high second. Then, I'd try and land two of the Guards you named. From there, I target a RB and a Safety.

I think there's at least three lineman we should be aiming to get between RD1 - RD3 next year.
1. Cam Robinson - OT - Alabama - He should end up being a first round selection . Big kid. Well balanced. Proven blocker. Has improved this year in the pass blocking department by all accounts.
2. Connor McDermott - OT - UCLA - We might be able to get this Giant in RD2 - RD3 next year. I think he's an upgrade at RT at the minimum over Parnell.
3. Ethan Pocic - C - LSU - If he's pegged to play Center by most scouts instead of Guard in the NFL he could be there as well in RD2 or RD3. I think we should give him a shot at Center and that gives us the ability to move Linder back to guard where he needs to be.

Cam Robinson is without a doubt the top OT in this class. The problem is this kid has all kinds of red flags. I've read a couple of articles saying he is a nightmare to deal with off the field and his arrest for drugs and gun possession this past off season seems to back that up. He's be a huge risk with a first round pick. Personally, I'd pass.
As a huge UCLA fan, (it's a bad year to be one of those), I can tell you Connor McDermott is the most over hyped prospect this year. The kid can't run block at all and although he is the Bruins best pass protector (which isn't saying much), he is average at best. There is no way he is worthy of a first round pick or a second round pick in my opinion. In fact, I probably wouldn't even consider his until at least the 4th round and only as a project.
Ethan Pocic is a solid C/OG prospect. While I prefer Elflein or Feeney, Pocic is definitely one of the top 3 interior linemen in this draft and if it were me, I'd trade down, to try and snag 2 of these guys in the first and second rounds. Elflein in particular. That kid is an excellent run blocker and a very good pass protector. If you ask me, he may be the best O-Lineman Ohio State has turned out in many years.

Maybe not early in the first round, but there's good value to be had in rounds 2-4 IMO.

I think for interior linemen there is value to be had in rounds 2-4. Tackle is kinda weak.
Robinson has his off-field issues but I think it's all behind him and at 5-ish I think he'd be a solid selection to slide in at RT to replace Parnell.

There are always solid lineman that can be found in the mid rounds.
I don't know what to think of Bortles. He doesnt seem to have "it". I would consider looking at QBs early if there is one we happen to really like.

Why go spending a high draft pick on a QB when we don't even know what we have in Brandon Allen? I really liked him coming out of college and I wouldn't be surprised at all if he ends up being pretty good. Let's give him a shot before we do something we'll regret later.

True.
Watching Denver's 7th round pick behind center tonight and he's getting it done. It does work out that way occasionally. As of now, I'd like to see another QB selected in the 4th-6th by Caldwell (or the new GM if that happens.)
Let Allen, Bortles and some new blood scrap it out in 2017 camp for the start.

Considering he was the 250th player taken in his draft class and he is even starting at QB, shows me he has has outplayed any expectation anyone had for this kid. I never even heard of him before last year and I follow college football very closely. The fact that Denver has won games with this guy at QB, tells me he can't be too horrible. The Broncos basically got this guy for nothing.

The first few series on Sunday cast some serious doubt in my mind as to whether Bortles is the future at the QB position. I love the kids fire and all, but you don't make a career out of missing passes the way he has.
I'm totally on board with the idea of opening up the competition at the spot and letting the chips fall where they may. The kid has had his turn, let's make him earn the spot.

I would love to get ND's Quentin Nelson in the 2nd round. He is a mauler and would lock down the LG spot easily.

True they got him for nothing but that doesn't mean he is good. He played real real bad last night besides one throw. Bronco fans want Lynch to play

OL talent isn't what it used to be with today's CFB offenses.
Doesn't mean it isn't there, it's just more difficult to judge/harder to find. Most need a lot of work.

I think the recipe for success is building a dominant offensive line. To do that, we must invest in interior linemen relatively high.
I think Beachum will likely get his extension, so we will have him at LT.
LG I say will be played by our 2nd round pick
C will be Linder
RG Cann
RT Parnell/3rd round pick
then draft another lineman in round 4-5 to have quality depth & to develop him

I completely agree with this. I'd also possibly bring in a vet to compete like Menelik Watson if Oakland lets him walk.
Beachum-Q.Nelson/E.Pocic-Linder-Cann-Parnell/Watson/draft pick
That would be a good line moving forward.
