You still haven't named one reason you like Sessions. You are trying to put the burden on me that Lynch is better.

Okay.. I'll bite. She was never accused of calling former Mobile County commissioner Douglas Wicks the n word. She also didn't give false testimony when testifying about calling someone the n word. She also didn't call the ACLU and NAACP un-American for fighting for voting rights. She also didn't fight LEGAL immigration. She is also not a climate change skeptic. She also never said she was okay with the KKK until she learned they smoked marijuana.

Your move.

I named his qualifications in my earlier post.

I asked for a link with proof regarding your Flynn accusations.

You still haven't provided proof that Flynn in any way was accused of "mishandling classified information by sharing data during the Afghanistan invasion with Pakistan on terror networks responsible for killing Americans."  I'm sure if that was true it would have been all over the news and he would be behind bars right now.  But go ahead and keep spewing the mis-information all you want.

I still find it funny how you seem to think that all of the appointments made so far are Cabinet positions.  The only Cabinet position filled right now is Vice President and the only appointee right now is Senator Sessions for Attorney General.
The majority of this thread man lol

Quote:Let me make it easy on you. You tell me which of these people creates a bulge in your pants and why.

Reince Priebus - Chief of Staff: aside from having the worst name in history he has said he wouldn't rule out an unconstitutional Muslim registry.

Jeff Sessions - Attorney General: Senate wouldn't confirm him to be a federal judge because of accusations of being a racist.

Mike Pompeo - CIA Director: rejects global warming, opposes regulation of greenhouse gas emissions, wants to abolish EPA, wants to block wind power tax credits, opposes labeling of GMOs, wants to re-establish collection of metadata of US citizens. Says Muslim leaders who don't denounce terrorism are complicit in the attacks. Tea Party Republican.

Mike Flynn - offered National Security Advisor role: checkered history within the Pentagon including improper handling of classified information (I've heard this somewhere before.. where was it).

Myron Ebell - EPA: because who better to protect the environment than a paid off climate change denier.

Steve Bannon - Senior Counselor: numerous anti-Muslim, anti-Immigrant comments. Called conservative pundit Bill Kristol a "renegade Jew." Called liberal women "a bunch of dykes." Antagonistic propagandist.

Those are the names we know. Now let's look at who is in contention for the remaining posts. The first thing that stands out is that many are retired or semi-retired including: Mitt Romney, Newt Gingrich, Rudy Giuliani, Joseph Kellogg and the perpetually awful John Bolton. Who else is in the running? Ex- Goldman Sachs bigwig Henry Paulson who engineered the big bank bailouts. Another retired General "Mad Dog" Mattis who famously said, "It's fun to shoot people." Ex-trucker and anti animal rights activist Forrest Lucas (Lucas Oil) is under consideration for Secretary of Agriculture. How fitting. Senior Black Belt level scam artist Jamie Dimon is under consideration for Secretary of Treasury. That should send chills down your spine. Tom Coburn (also retired) is under consideration for Director of the OMB. He famously said no to pretty much every government project ever. Ex-WWE executive Linda McMahon (Mrs. Vince) failed twice at being elected Senator in CT, but she may have a seat at the table. Rick Perry is in the mix for head of the Department of Energy which is funny as it's one of the 3 departments he said he would eliminate as president. And for some reason Sarah Palin is eligible (is there a Secretary of Word Salad post?)

So which of the named people or potential picks gets you jazzed we are going to make America great again?

While I don't like hearing that he said "It's fun to shoot people" it's worth noting that Mattis (at least according to what I've heard) is against Waterboarding.  Which is a positive (at least in my opinion it is)

That is also false.  Sessions called the NAACP and the ACLU " un-American" and "Communist-inspired" because they "forced civil rights down the throats of people" which is pretty much true.  It had nothing to do with voting rights.

By the way, am I the only one that finds it ironic that it's supposedly offensive to refer to black people as "colored", yet that's part of the title of NAACP?

I wonder which civil right's he was unhappy having shoved down his throat and what made them communist inspired. Since you think that it's "pretty much true" could you tell me which civil rights you agree you think he was right in condemning?

Honestly, I can't really name what he was referring to but the first thing that comes to mind is the issue of "quotas".

Certain institutions have to have so many of each different race, gender, etc.  The term "token" is pretty widely known and it wasn't un-common then and certainly isn't now for some people to advance to a certain position solely because of race, gender, etc. rather than because of their accomplishments and/or ability.

You named his titles. Because Obama was president I should assume he is a good president? Because Fred Durst is a singer I should assume he is a good singer? Do you know anything about him aside from jobs he's held? No comment on the reasons I think Lynch might be better? Admit it.. you don't know the first reason you "like" Sessions. You just knee jerked at the word conservative. If not, tell me about his accomplishments. Respond to any of the reasons I cited that Lynch might be better.

Man.. bummer to hear your Google is broken. I found a few articles referencing this.

I named a brief resume regarding his qualifications.  You haven't listed one accomplishment that makes Loretta Lynch a better fit for the position.  The bottom line is that he is a very qualified individual to fill the second Cabinet position of the Trump administration.  You're sitting here whining and crying (I know... that's what you liberals do) regarding how the Cabinet that he's building is so bad after a total of two positions are filled.

Admit it, you think that Loretta Lynch is better suited for the position because of two maybe three things.  1.  She's black.  2.  She's a woman.  3.  She's liberal.

It's really a bummer when you are too afraid to post any links to back up your nonsense.  You aren't even man (or is it woman) enough to back up your claims about a decorated Veteran with links to reputable sources regarding your false claims.  Rest assured, google works just fine for me.

LOL.

From your article.

Quote:...

Flynn, 56, who was one of the most respected military intelligence officers
of his generation.

“When someone says, ‘You’re a general, so you have to shut up,’ ” he said, “I say, ‘Do I have to stop being an American?’ ”

.

Rather than scaling back, Flynn, a registered Democrat
, has become an avid campaigner for Trump whose views and impulses increasingly echo those of the Republican candidate.

All the more reason that shows he's the right pick.  Bipartisan and more-than-qualified to fill the position.

That's a pretty long article. There's a lot they say about Flynn.. can I cherry pick too? Not hearing any denial about the accusations. Deflect. Deflect.

If I ate popcorn I'd break some out right now.
Quote:Come on now. Jeff Sessions is going to do his best to take us back to 1953 - which I think is when FBT was in his prime.

Ah, the good old days.

I'll give anybody 5/1 odds Adam2012 brown bags his lunch and eats in the breakroom. This is all under the assumption he is employed.

Any takers?

So there is something wrong with bringing your lunch to work now?

I really don't care what people do for lunch.
Some of the nutcases on the left truly need therapy.

Wow - really getting defensive now, aren't you?

Hmmm - you are the one who is here seemingly 24/7. No wife, no kids, no life? Probably works for Daddy, who doesn't mind you playing on the computer all the time. At least you're not home, bothering Mom.

Thanks for the concern. Oh, did your brown shirts ever arrive?

So, you are a 5 day a week brown bagger, huh?

I'm sure you tried going out to lunch "with the guys" for awhile, but I am guessing your co-workers like you even less than people in cyberspace do and found a way to leave you back at the office to eat your ham and cheese with Betty in the break room complaining about corporate politics and life in general.

Make sure you recycle your brown bag.
