Cut him or trade. What a horrible player.
Fat sack of [BLEEP]
I would like him to be utilized the correct way first before cutting bait.

Where are the seam routes?

Why is Thomas being asked to run such short routes that frequently have him near the sideline?

Why is he often put in position to make a catch with no momentum going forward?

“We’d like to have him catch to where we can get up field,” Bradley said. “We knew [short routes] could happen, because we were chipping him. He had to chip and then get release. With that, maybe if his route was supposed to be at 7, it was going to be at 5. Then we said if we are going to throw it to you, the last two are on you.”

That’s not what Thomas does well. He doesn’t have make-the-guy-miss moves. Thomas is a rebounder with straight-line speed. You send him 15 yards down the middle of the field, throw it up to him so he can catch it moving towards the goal line and hope he breaks a tackle.

I don't understand why Jaguars keep running Julius Thomas on those short outs shy of the sticks.

Get another coach in here please.
He's [BLEEP].

Yeah he was used way better last season. Still, he doesn't have great hands, isn't that fast and is the softest guy that size I have ever seen in my life. I'm not a fan.
Need to go young at tight end. And use the freed up money to pay coaches.

Coaches don't count on the cap and even if they did the team shouldn't be making decisions based on money.
The list of players worth keeping anymore gets shorter as the season goes on.
Another colossal miss by DC

Everybody knew he was a product of Manning except for people on this board.

Why do you always change what people thought and pretend you were the only one to believe it?
Dude is just phoning in it in.  He's over this Qb and coaching staff and the bonus check already cleared.

He'd be lighting it up on a team with a better QB and coaches that made him stay in shape.

Exactly use him how the Broncos did pretty simple...
This is the place where free agents (offense) go to die
Hes not an elite tight end but a solid player, he could be a productibe weapon that defenses would have to factor every week but we use him poorly and have a bad qb throwing at him
Caldwell signed him.
lol I remember being chastised for saying he has to prove himself without Manning a year ago.

Except me, I said from the beginning and people called me a troll
I think Jacksonville has the reputation of being a place where free agents can sign that one last huge contract before they retire. The problem is, most of them retire their motivation as soon as the ink is dry on their big contracts. The list of over-the-hill free agents who have come here to pilfer our salary cap space is deplorable. Julius Thomas is just the latest.

New England jettisons players as they reach that ' final contract ' stage. It's worked out pretty well for them.
Julius Thomas?

There's a fat guy on the team with #80 on his jersey but never heard of this Julius Thomas you speak of.
