Screaming on the ground does not necessarily mean it is an ACL injury. Victor Cruz screamed when he tore his patellar tendon.

Something that has annoyed me for years is people automatically assume a player tore his ACL knowing there are three other major ligaments, two tendons, and other stuff that also can be torn. Nobody really knows until the MRI is done.

Cruz is done guys.
good thing we run mostly 2 WR sets. Hurns and Lee are more than capable. It sucks but as long as we can run the football we are good, with or without A Rob

Lee is usually injury prone so who knows about him.

That is what some of the initial tests are for.  The MRI is to confirm it

Sources: #Jaguars star WR Allen Robinson is feared to have torn his ACL, based on initial tests. He'll have an MRI tomorrow.

Is he injured right now?  He played all of last season.  Hurns is tough as nails but he has had nagging injuries as well.

Wow, we are really thin. We can't rely on LEE staying healthy.
Receivers are:

Lee
Hurns
Cole
Benn
Etta-Tawo (PS - Likely called up soon)

I imagine they'll IR A-Rob and add a guy like Pinkard/walters or similar to 53 or call up Etta-Tawo to the 53 and add one to PS.
Benn has had some success in this league as well and I liked what I have seen from Cole
the problem with lee and hurns is both are massive injury risks on their own.. one a soft tissue guy and the other concussions

Sure we can. I mean, you can't.  All you do is fear the worst.  That's your thing.

But "we" can.  He's in great shape and he threw some really tough blocks today in the run game . I have confidence in him.

So what are you going to do?  Trade future picks?  No thanks  Are they hurt right now?
Sucks if it's a torn acl.
So I shouldn't hold any optimism for the fact that he was walking seemingly fine with the medical staff as he was heading into the locker room?

No. Once the ligament is torn and the pain subsides, you can walk relatively normally. Just no lateral movement.

I do like how Bklyn shows up in the only negative thread from the game lol
Jaguars WR Allen Robinson feared to have torn ACL

http://www.nfl.com/news/story/0ap3000000...e-torn-acl

The season is likely over for Allen Robinson. The Jacksonville Jaguars' go-to wide receiver is feared to have suffered a torn ACL in Sunday's season-opening win over the Houston Texans.
It definitely stinks if he's out for the year- especially with Westbrook out 8 weeks. If Walters is still available, he's the guy I'd pick back up. He may not be a game-breaker, but he is very reliable. This team can win with Lee, Hurns, Cole, Benn and Walters, especially with their easy schedule. Colts looked horrible and Luck will be out awhile.
I'm still hoping the reports are exaggerated and he's able to return sometime this season.
Good thing we didnt trade any WRs before the season started

Side life, would suck to live like that
There is a basic bedside test a trained physician could use to point in the direction of torn ACL which is probably why it is speculated, but can't be confirmed until MRI. Here is to hoping for a meniscus injury instead.
