What sticks out the most to me about this is the fact that there is really no panic over him getting hurt. We are so deep at the position and focused on the run that losing him, although does hurt, doesn't not hurt this team as much. Hopefully he recovers well and is on the team next year.

As for this year, activate Wynn and let's move on to the titans.
Lee was our most productive receiver last year. We drafted him before Robinson for a reason. Hurns is reliable enough. Cole has potential but can't seem to find the football. Maybe he just needs reps. How long is Westbrook supposed to be out? Wynn played pretty well in preseason. As long as we can at least be serviceable at that position we should be okay in our division.
Looks like we just need to feed Fournette more.

How much would you guys offer ARob per year??

55 million over 5 years  -- 25 mil guaranteed

But I'd wait to see how the healthy receivers perform in 2017 first.

Westbrook may be back in week nine if healthy. Wynn is IR'd for the season.

(Etta-Tawo is on the PS.)
The tough part is that we need to field a split-end, and ARob had that position down pat. Arrelious can play the spot, but I'm thinking we may want to start Lee ahead of him to see what he can do. Hurns and Cole can hold down the flanker spot with Hurns playing slot when we go three wide.

For sure we're bringing in a 5th WR, but do we active Amba-Tawo? I think he needs more time on the squad to develop, so I'm guessing we bring in outside help.... either a true slot receiver or else a bonafide split-end... we're set at the flanker (WR#2) spot.

.

Cruz would be a decent option, and now that we are in week 2, his salary isn't guaranteed.   That would be a safe alternative.  I also like the idea of bringing Walters back. He was a reliable target for Bortles.

It sucks that Robinson is done for the year, but it may be a gift in disguise as contract talks begin.  I know someone else mentioned it earlier, and as unfortunate as the injury is to the player, it gives the team some bargaining ability.
Incredible player to watch when he is healthy and has his head right. Please get well soon Allen!
I hope we go in for Victor Cruz, cut from the Bears and will WANT to play some Football.
I'm ok with Cruz at this point.
That sucks really. I hope Allen recovers fully and hope he gets a prove it deal with us next season.

To replace him, even if with a different skill set I agree with those who would welcome Walters back. Gets open, sure hands, we wouldn't have seen those drops from him yesterday, he was always reliable on third down and difficult catches.

Get well soon Allen.
It is amazing that losing him doesn't have the feeling of a season killer. Especially with the ability to get Westbrook back later.

I do wonder if this is a bit humbling for ARob and checks his attitude a bit.
The news is nothing bad sad. He was poised to have a great year, hope he bounces back next year
What would it take to get Steve Smith to come out of retirement?

Lol really? Come on man. They're not going to sign or go after a big name guy. They're going to slide Lee/Hurns to the top and bring in someone like Walters.
You guys. Cruz sucks.

He was cut from a Bears team that has no WRs. He's not good and the Jags shouldn't sign him.

And if I'm not mistaken, he got hurt with Bears as well and might be out a few weeks.

But he's a name!!!
Hurns gonna have a big year

How about T.O.?

Man I really wish Westbrook wasn't on IR.

Hurns is going to need to step up and now have big drops like that one awful drop he had where Blake put it on the money.

I really wish the Jags had a pass catching TE though to help take some of the pressure off the WRs.

Maybe $12M/year for 4-5 years?  But it'd be structured with performance clauses covering the concern on rehab from the ACL.  Maybe incentivize it so he could make up to $16Mish/year if he had top 5 WR stats or something.

Heck no! Why would I pay a guy coming off an ACL, who had a down year the year before, 12 million for 4-5 years. Hes gonna get a one year 'prove it' deal for like 5 million with incentives at best. Lots of guys never come back from an ACL completely. His one 'great year' was already looking a little flukish before he was injured. I love the Jags players as much as the next guy, but Robinson lost a ton of money, no way hes getting a 4 or 5 year deal now.
