First of all we have a QB who isnt reliable at make 3rd a longs
The OL was bad, too many penalties moving us back, not gonna blame them on the running game Tenn has like 9 in the box
We have a number 1 TE that cant catch or beat his man one on one, I have no idea why we didnt sign or draft a proven pass catching TE their were plenty out there. When you have a bad QB at least give him a good TE that can catch.
Defense held them and held them but its 90 degrees out there and they got tired, MM didnt have a good game passing but he made key pass in key situation like a good QB can do, we dont have that.
We are just not gonna be able to hid Bortles every game, and expect the running game to run wild vs 8 man fronts and expect the defense to force 4 TOs
Yep, we had our [BLEEP] handed to us by an average team.
This team is competent in every area except that the passing game is horribly inconsistent. As a result teams like the tacks who have no business beating us can load up against our running game and completely shut down our offense. Not blaming the defense you get worn down after seeing the QB repeatedly turn the ball over regardless of how it happens.

Derrick Henry is ok. Figured he'd be fired up against the home crowd but it's not hard to look good when the opposing offense is one dimensional.

What does the RB running on the defense have to do with sacks?
At that point the defense is tired, and is asked to stop a 260 lbs RB

I guess this is just going to have to be addressed in every thread until it sinks in. The box is stacked because we are stacking the box first. We are running 1 and 2 WR sets the majority of the time. Is the defense supposed to bring in a third CB to defend the imaginary third WR? No, they are going to bring in the third LB. It's stacked because we are designing it to be stacked.
This team was derailed by turnovers. The defense had a tipping point that was reached.
These are the drives that led to the wheels completely falling off, you can easily notice a trend.. Everybody wants to completely blame Bortles, yet I see a bunch of stupid penalties completely killing every one of these drives. They scored 27 straight points during this stretch.

I don't think you read my statement fully. 44 PASSING yards. Yes we are stacking the box, so that should set up plenty of 1 on 1's for the qb to attack. 44 passing yards against a stacked box in the first quarter isn't going to cut it.

No I did, it's just that passing success isn't what is going to unstack the box. No one is going to be double teaming Hurns or Lee they aren't Julio or OBJ. The only way we are going to get the box unstacked with the personnel we have is by putting more WRs in and spreading the field more.
I didn't think the OL played that bad. It was all on Blake.
The Titans did do something special on offense. They executed beautifully in the second half. The Jags offense didn't. The score reflects the obvious with that said.
It's all about execution in the NFL.
