May still do some tweaking...

- Blake Bortles
- Chad Henne
- Aaron Colvin
- Tommy Bohanon
- TJ Yeldon
- Matt Overton
- Max McCaffrey

- Marcedes Lewis? Will he retire?
- Allen Robinson? Would a disappointing season by the Jags send ARob to a perennial contender?
- Jason Myers? Can he make it through this season?
Blake Bortles is locked in for 2018 on the fifth year option, so you can forget about him leaving before 2019. Nothing Jaguars fans say on Twitter will convince me otherwise.
The fifth year option does not mean Blake Bortles will be on this team. The 19 million is only guaranteed if he is injured. Otherwise we can cut him and owe him nothing next year.

I think we bring everyone back after our Superbowl victory.
Everyone will be gone, rebuid from scratch.

This plus Hurns, both guards, Rivera, and Parnell.

Another complete rebuild.
Bortles
Henne
Lee (will want more than we can offer)
Lewis
Plz

Edit: Myers and Ivory most likely as well.

Maybe some defensive depth shuffles and a new olineman.  This roster is not in need of overhaul.  It is weak at a few spots and old at a couple spots.  Will be a quick turnaround with good QB play.
We have to keep Colvin even if that means paying him #2 money for a #3 guy. You keep your good players.

Letting Colvin walk in free agency would be a monumental mistake.

If we make Lee a decent enough offer I'm not exactly convinced that other teams will be clamoring to overpay him.

I'm shocked... shocked I tell ya... That you don't know what the 5th year option means.

Real fans would know
Why now? One lose and here we go looking at next year. Honestly I'm cautiously optimistic and think it will be an up and down year but I'm not too interested in 2018.

So why post in this thread? Good question
Besides the bottom roster guys like McCaffrey:

Blake
Henne
Lewis
Lee or ARob (one will be gone)
Ivory
Yeldon
Poz
Myers
Bennett

Even if we win the SB, there's a list of guys you can be sure will be gone regardless next year.

Losing some backups, our QB who is below average, and one Defensive starter is a "complete rebuild?"

Asking for a friend.

He's not locked in unless he is injured and can't pass a physical in March.  Odds of that happening are zero.  He won't be a Jaguar next year unless he turns things around quickly this year.  I don't see that happening.

As far as the OPs list goes, I doubt Robinson is going anywhere.  He'll be re-signed to a reasonable deal because of the knee injury.  There's no reason to create a hole at that position.

Apparently the word "option" is elusive to define in the land of kitties.

Just about every pass Mariota completed Sunday was against Colvin.
