Was KC that banged up or was the offense that good? A team high in rushing. We came in averaging 73 yds a game and rushing for over 200. 250 yards in the air plus many more we left behind on drops and bad throws. There were still plenty of good defenders on this kc defense the jags played today. If not for the refs and turnovers this would of been an easy win. I though Hacket called a great game plan. A little optimistic going forward.
I noticed they stunted alot on defense and we just ran the ball where the defender stunted from.
It was a well called game.
Offensive play calling was solid. Defensive play was solid. The turnovers killed the team today.
When we play the Broncos, then I'll see where the offense is.
Does it matter, we still lost.

This and only scored 14 points.
He is going to be gone along with Gus.
Is he better than what we had? Probably but it's hard to say so soon.

I hate what ifs, but remove one of those turnovers, the Jaguars win. Take away all three, they dominate.
You just have to be fearful of the potential stat line the jags may put up against the Broncos.....the way Parnell is playing as well.....speed rushers are having a time
Lots of yards, low scoring, still suck
We could have 2000 yards of offense and still find a way to lose.

Exactly. 7 points in the 1st half? Same as before. Starting slow is not going to win games. Bortles had his big throw when they were down 2 scores. Yeldon had a good day but most of that came on 1 run.
I think this was the 5th game that they never had the lead. Not going to win many games like that.

His INT aside, I thought Blake made some nice throws in the 1st half. Hurns dropped a ball on 4th and 1 that would have put us in prime scoring position, and ARob failed to put any effort into catching a deep ball.

Yes, but they happened. This team finds ways to lose. It sucks but that's the reality.
I was speaking with a Bills fan yesterday. He told me not to get my hopes up about Hackett because he's not very good. Sadly he seems better than Olson at this point. I say sadly because that's how bad the Jags are. Lol

AROB went "all out" diving for passes on 2 plays prior to the one you're talking about.
The first one:
A 3rd down conversion where AROB had his man beat by a step or two. If the pass hits him in stride, AROB gets a long gain. However, the pass was way off and wobbling SIDEWAYS. AROB made one heck of a catch on that. Watching replays, I couldn't believe he brought that thing in the way the ball was flopping around.
The second one:
It was a deep pass down the sidelines. AROB had separation. The pass was a nice throw, but overthrown. AROB went "all out" on that one also. He made an excellent diving attempt at it. He got his hands on it, but couldn't keep it. Wilcots remarked how difficult a play hat would've been, and that AROB really gave great effort there, but thought AROB should try to hold on to that one. It was still a great effort.
I just can't see questioning AROB's effort at catching passes. He's consistently diving and jumping for most balls thrown his way. Did you see that TD in the back of the End Zone yesterday? WOW, that was one great catch to stay inbounds. He was completely stretched out for that one.

Jags had five turnovers effectively. Three fumbles, 1 INT and a dropped pass on 4th down. Just the pass and the Ivory fumble and it's 28-19. Take away the fumble on the punt return and it's 28-12. Coulda, woulda, shoulda, but we were a lot better yesterday than people realize and miles ahead of what we were against the Raiders and tacks.

They dont know how to win.

I agree. He's made a lot of high effort catches this season despite a tick down in production.
Many of the difficult catches he's made should have been easy but they were severely off target.
We are scrapping the barell for our topics. Man this team has really run the gammet on bad play and outcomes.

I certainly agree. They played yesterday the way that I expected them to play throughout the season. A couple of things to note that goes along with the turnover part of the game.
1. They never quit. Not like they did in the last couple of games. That goes for both sides of the ball.
2. Though there were a few penalties, there weren't any of the "dumb" variety (unsportsmanlike conduct, etc.).
If they play like they did yesterday and tighten up on the turnovers they would win a lot more games.
